Well, Katrina didn't happen in 2006. That's why it wasn't mentioned.

"I guess the pain of the hurricane is yesterday's news in Washington,"

And I'd agree. And it is yesterday's news everywhere else, too.

Guess what.....it's old everywhere else, too. Other areas of the Gulf Coast hit just as hard are managing.....and not whining. Get you act together and things will turn around. Good luck with that.

Why should he Governor?

N.O. constituents reelected Major Nagin, which means they are satisfied with conditions on the ground.

Bush was too busy leading the way for new taxes on employees who receive employee sponsored benefits.

Yeah, and how's the Gulf coast of Mississippi doing? We never heard any b!tching and moaning from the people who lived there, and it was just as devastated as N.O. They quietly went about the business of rebuilding, refusing to adopt victim-status, from what I can gather.

This woman should be arrested and put on trial for all the lives lost from Katrina. Michael Brown should run against her in her next election. I bet he would win if she would dare to debate him.

What? We have to suffer LA. the rest of our lives because the local Government there can't handle it?

Do you hear anything out of Colorado and the mid-section of the nation over the storms they have had one after another and the deaths it has caused?

NO, because they have Government that knows what they are doing....get a clue LA!!!!!
