I thought that the gas that flows through our pipe lines was all the same with the exception of octane levels and that additives or whatever were added at the tanker filling stations. I like the idea but I think one is still buying the petrol based product from the same old suppliers. I would pay a "liitle" more for domestic oil but is that gonna happen?

This is ridiculous.
If you buy any oil product at all, you are supporting terrorists by increasing the effective demand for the products they sell.
To: Stoat
I'm in Omaha & have never heard of this. I think they need to do some advertising.

Good post!Thank you for your kind words :-)

I understand....there is only one Flying J station about 40 miles from the stoat cave. Hopefully the sentiments driving this initiative will be realized in profits and spur the opening of more stations.
To all:
Please be advised that Flying J as well as Sinclair have 'station locator' search functions on their web pages. You can click on the links at post # 8 and search to find a station near you.

Does that mean they'll exterminate the spiders in the bathrooms? I would be happy if they just cleaned it once a year.

What's the equivalent marketing thing for coffee, is it fair trade or some such?I'm not sure, but it would be interesting to know. I've always been a believer in using my wallet as my vote, and it would be nice to avoid doing business with anti-American coffee producing nations as well.

What countries are those? Do they include Venezuela which makes kissy-face with leaders of nations that have vowed to wipe out Jews?
I'll stay away, thank you.

Any word on Maverick stations? Not sure....as you can see, Maverick is not listed by the Terror-Free Oil initiative at all, and they provide no 'station locator' search function at their corporate website
Maverick Engineering, Inc
You may be able to get more information by visiting a station near you. They may have brochures available at the counter that tells more about their company.

Unless these companies have created a closed loop production, transportation, refinement and distribution system if would be impossible to ensure that no Middle Eastern oil is part of the gas that they sell.
