House Democrats, in a brazen attempt to defend the Culture of Corruption, are set to alter House Ethics Rules in a way openly supportive of Democrats who might be found guilty by courts of law of corruption or bribery related to the passage of legislation.
Under present rules, if a Member of Congress is found guilty of a crime related to the passage of legislation, the member would have his pension cut off dated from the date of the legislation's passage -- even if it took a few years to find him guilty.
The Democrats, via H. R. 476, the Member Pension Bill, which they intend to push through tonight, will seek to change this. Under their proposal, if a bill is signed by President Bush, and then a Member of Congress is found guilt of a crime related to the passage of legislation between the President's signature and January 2, 2009, the member would receive their FULL Congressional pension.
She does that EVER year .. all smiles and laughs
And then will go on Hardball and talk about out terrible the President is
Sheila is a two face hypocrite
I'm telling ya .. next time she talks .. listen for that lips like something is on the roof of her mouth
I'm betting they ain't real
With all of her millions, you'd think she'd have implants. WOW.
I was thinking about dirty Harry Reid. Something could still come out of that and he needs to be sure he isn't affected, just in case.
The Dems are acting like by them getting the majority in the House...that makes the GOP not even there anymore.
I keep hearing that the House was structured to work this way...and that was the intention of the forefathers.
If that is true...then we should just have the GOP House members go home to their districts....no need to be in Washington..if they won't be allowed to have committee mark ups, or put up any amendments..and ALL bills will be passed by majority vote.
That is cracking me up...it shouldn't cuz I am so greatful that you watch and transcribe, so I don't have to, but dang, it's funny...(could be the wine).
Hi gang.
I'm not worry
Saying that NO is more important then the rest of the country won't sell
Besides, the dems don't have much luck when these speeches are concerned
remember eyebrow dude from last year
LOL...I do remember that.
I just want to see them try to get their rebuttal to be a pre-buttal...and have Webb run up to the podium before Pres. Bush gets there.
Webb kind of reminds me of that commercial with William Shatner from a long time ago...where he puts the battery on his shoulder and tells someone to knock it off!!
You know what .. The Republican should do that
And have a full presser explaining why
Let'em try a stunt like that .. I DARE THEM TO DO IT
Webb kind of reminds me of that commercial with William Shatner from a long time ago
Naaaa .. Webb is too stiff .. like he has a pole stuck up his ....
I'm not worry either...lol.
FOTFL
LOL...much better.
He was in jail for a while, wasn't he?
I'm glad you got a laugh out of that. She is not the only mouth to watch. The dems have a bunch. Watch Harry Reid trying to make sincere mouth messages, drawing up his lips at the terrible obstructionism of his Republican opponents. It's spellbinding, at the same time he tries to actually enunciate words that he doesn't do well with, which is most of them...Mur Preden, Mur Preden. Patrick Leahy shares the enunciation, marble mouth problem. On to the junior senator from I forget where in the North East who must have had a collagen shot miss her lips and hit her tongue: "Mithter Prethident, Mithter Prethident." No end of amusement to be had.
Maybe she has bad gums and couldn't get them *L*
So I guess the crime is being committed tonight!
