Dick Morris Looks To 'Swift Boat' Hillary

Dick Morris, longtime former aide to Bill Clinton, is soliciting funds to finance an expose - documentary film of Senator Hillary Clinton who announced last week her intention to run for president in 2008.

In a letter sent to Republican mailing lists this week, Morris asks for contributions of $25 to $100 to help in his efforts.

"If you liked how the Swift Boat Veterans turned the tide against John Kerry, you understand how a top Clinton aide can turn the tables and stop a Clinton style liberal from becoming the next president of the United States."

Morris is incapable of sinking Hillary. Only Obama or Edwards could do that. Democrats will not listen to Republicans.

Now you're sounding like a liberal..Questioning the motive of the messenger..Morris' motives may be impure or righteous, we don't know, but the fact remains that he has his facts straight. Always has. He's amoral but he doesn't strike me as partisan. He'll go with whoever pays the bill. And do a damn fine job too.

I'm not speculating or questioning his motives, he admitted as much several times during the impeachment battle. He was constantly bringing up the issue of the "Clinton secret police " and said he felt very resentful as he felt he was a victim it. And the reasons that I mentioned about why he though he was targeted were reasons he gave explicitly in interviews and in print.

I pretty much like Morris as a democrat. His project seems quite worthy to me. My only reservation with it is that at present the media is treating the way off 2008 election as being solely between Giuliani, McCain, Obama, and Hillary. If that ends up being the case going into 2008, I'll be supporting Hillary. A thought that that I find quite repugnant.
