For sure! I was just shocked, maybe the fix is in here and we just are not seeing it.
Remember ol' Sam Donaldson, who always said all those things the other rat/operatives wished he wouldn't say? He just did it again,IMHO. Quite innocently he remarked that maybe Hussein Obma really is running for VP and "might look attractive to whomever the front runner might be",!Hmmmm. Now just who could the front runner be.
Stuffy Stephhy gave Sam a short lived dirty look and ran away from the topic so fast I couldn't believe it.
I still say that is the game in play here. Hillary, and her army, have way too much invested to take even the smallest chance on anyone else stealing "her action"! BAMA is the next VP and he and bubba will carry the ball after the convention while she does her best to hide. It's all in play and unfolding as we speak.
Her revealing his(obama) madrassa school education last week is just another slick move to get any possible bad link to her Presidency out "now" so she can give the standard lawyerly reply of "asked and answered" when it comes up again and it will. These people are slick, well funded, unbelievably manipulated and determined to be anointed. It's our job to ruin their day.

No matter the cost of victory, the price of defeat is greater....a fact which the cut-and-runners refuse to acknowledge.

I believe that the miserable, tone deaf DBM has come to the realization that Conservatives hate Mccain and will not vote for him in the Primary. They also know by his pandering to Conservatives that he has no intention of going third party therefore they do not need to pump him up any longer to do that third party gig to hurt the Republicans. They know a lot of dirt about Mccain and they would keep him in the fold as a useful idiot if they thought he had a Snowball's chance in Hell of winning the Republican Nomination. Since they do not think this will happen, why bother to play nice with him and keep pushing him to go for it? They will never be able to use all their dirt on him unless he is the Nominee. He can still be a fairly useful idiot as we see here with Buffalo Butt this AM. I am getting so I would rather watch Bird Doo Doo dry on a brand New Mercedes Hood (especially if it belonged to Russert) than watch The Sunday Morning Talk Shows. it is a lot more exciting and thought provoking...LOL!

Could mean too many candidates for CNN since all they want is a hillary/obama ticket, who knows?

NO! I said that!!! I sent an email to McConnel requesting that he expel Hagel. Sorry for the confusion....I'll try to be more clear in future posts! Yikes, I didn't mean to suggest Brit said it.

One of us needs to write a book--"the transformation of hillary", let the public see the true story.

Why is Clinton absent? She's in her Chuck Hagel makeup today, cross-dressing. Yep.

Very good post and I think you nailed it.....one little aside....while the conservative base argues over their candidate for months it will improve Hitlery/Osama chances in 08....we need to unite behind a candidate asap....

FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.No other Guest?......no doubt about where CBS stands...
They also had three "journalists" from a new political news startup, politico.com.
- John Harris
- Jim VandeHei
- Josephine Hearn
They are inside the beltway old school dinosaur media types trying to remain relevant in the age of new media. And CBS is part of the venture and has "first dibs" on their talent as talking heads on their shows. It officially kicks off Tuesday so this was their debut/promotional tour. I didn't watch them this morning (I was watching Reliable Sources) and will be interested in hearing what they had to say. Fortunately CBS does post their audio as a downloadable MP3 or a podcast you can subscribe to.

You are completely right (imo). It's Hillary/Obama in 2008 unless Edwards, playing the populist D.C. outsider now, can pull it out. And that is very possible.
But, if it is Hillary/Obama it will be a well-rounded Democrat ticket --- one has a penis and the other is very sensitive about his ears.

Well, by George I think you have it. My list was short, but at least half of the Members of the Senate and maybe 60 percent of the House Members are so dumb they rely on their Staff Members and Attorneys to do the work. They just read what their staff writes for them to say and then hope nobody asks them to clarify or asks a follow up question. I am sure with the DBM they have no worry about that, they only ask Republican idiots like Warner and Goober for clarification, hard questions, or followups.

Bill Richardson lists off all the things wrong with this country but not a thing about illegals.
By the way, Richardson, like all the other candidates with elected positions, should resign from his govenorship if he wants to run for president. If you have been voted in to office you have a job you agreed to do. Either show up for that job and do it or resign and run for president.

Exactly, Hillary is coming out now because she knows the time is fast approaching where she will have to literally hide for months at at time to avoid being asked those annoying questions. Questions one likes to ask those seeking the highest office in the world.

Amidst all the "My Good Friend" exchanges between Leahy and Graham, Lindsey strongly disagreed w/Leahy's grade of F- on the Bush Administration of the war in Iraq. I just wish for once in my lifetime that they'd drop the saccharine collegiality.
