First, even this guy (unlike a lot of freepers) says GLOBAL WARMING IS A FACT.
Now it may not be due to man made co2.
And the real fear among scientists is this quote from the article "scientists acknowledge that rises in temperatures can potentially cause massive increases of greenhouse gases due to various natural positive feedback mechanisms,"
Positive feedback loops would include, you get lots of snow which reflects sunlight which gets you more snow which reflects more sunlight, etc.
Positive feedback can also cause too much warming also.
Gore's gonna get you for this.
Man and all of his industries are not even a pin prick to the solar system. The idea of man causing global warming is like an ant crawling up an elephant's leg, etc, etc.
Which has a greater chance of getting us sooner rather than later?
Terrorism?
Or Global Warming?
"First, even this guy (unlike a lot of freepers) says GLOBAL WARMING IS A FACT. "
I definetly believe that all evidence points to global warming existing as a natural process of the Earth's atmosphere. However, I doubt that man-made emissions can accelerate this natural process in a significant and serious way.
Is this supposed to be ridicule of some sort?
Apf
So hyperventilating liberals are not the cause of the reported CO2 imbalance?
The term "global warming" is out. That has achieved pejorative status. The operative euphemistic phrase is now "climate change".

The first explanation I ever got on global warming was the sun did it. It has 11 to 17 year cycles of intensifying and retreating. Notice when someone wants to convince you the last weather happening was global warming they say" This is the worst storm, rain, hurricane, fill in the blank, in 20 years." Well that means 20 years ago it was just as bad or worse than now. If you ever want to get a rise out of a skeptic, just ask how long the glaciers have been melting. The Ice age ended tens of thousand of years ago according to the same people than want you to believe it started when Bush took office.
BTW, we are in one of the worst solar storms in recorded history right now. Recent astronauts had to hide for a while till one flare up passed. The weather can also be studied in tree rings and the cycles are in similar time frames. I grew up on the Gulf coast of Texas and I can remember 113 degree summer days where the tar ran off the roofs like black icicles. I can also remember cars driving out on Galveston Bay(Texas City Dike) when it froze.( salt water).
If we have a cool summer and a frigid winter next year, it will be because Pelosi is Speaker.
>> But the world's top polluter, the United States..
That's like complaining about an earth-mover using more fuel than a guy with a wheel barrow.
Glenn Beck talked Global Warming on his show this week. He said it was caused by the SUN.
Glenn's solution: BLOW UP the sun! Problem solved.
That's an outright falsehood. The world's top polluter is *CHINA*. Can't that get through their thick heads ? We got clean engines, catalytic converters, and scrubbers on our smokestacks. In China it rains sulphuric acid or worse, and there's a brown cloud over most of China and India caused by the burning of manure for fuel. The primary cause of death in China is pulmonary disease, caused by pollution or government supported smoking.
In Russia? Why do I imagine his days are numbered for going against todays driving force of international socialism??
Ooooo. OOoo. I wanna see the bomb they'd have to make for that. O. Wait. The peacniks don't make bombs. Darn. Well... guess we'll have to grow gills and learn how to swim when the oceans swallow the land.
I'm sending this article's URL to all my friends.....
This is what this non-scientist (Me) has suspected all along.
Now to figure out what the motive of the Libs is....in encouraging junk science?????
>> there's a brown cloud over most of China and India caused by the burning of manure
So we can toss out the expression "it's raining cats and dogs"...
Those crazy Russians ...heck everybody knows that Britney Spears is right about global warming
