Actually, she said something to the effect that she was not "a christian, a muslim, or a jew. I am a secular human being .... I do not believe in the supernatural, but I respect others to do so..." etc. I quote from memory and trust that the translation was correct...

It would be more correct to say that she is a moderate peace loving (apparently non-religious) Arab woman. Articulate and well studied one at that.
