This boy has amazing parents and because of them, I think he has a much better change of overcoming his trauma. No, I don't think I would do what they are doing, but I wouldn't criticize them. If I criticized everyone who did things differently than I would, I'd have nothing kind to say about anyone.

Normally I would agree with you. I am always getting on to people who say "I wouldn't do that if I was them" because I don't think we always understand how others are feeling. Usually my objections are direct to those who criticize the behavior of people who's child has died. I lost a child and I understand better than someone who hasn't the emotions that you go through.

In this case the boy is obviously humiliated at watching his parents on Oprah while he is on TV. If the parents went on Oprah alone to give support to other parents who are missing children I would not object. But to drag the boy out in front of the camera, while they speculate about his homosexual rape, is cruel and inhuman.
