It should be noted that Muslims on 24 almost never act Muslim or do anything particularly Muslim. They never use the words "Jihad" or "Allah" and if it weren't for occasional references to the Middle East or the characters' names, we'd never guess they're Muslim.

This season, a (failed) suicide bomber said "Allahu Akbar". As a 24 fan, I was quite (pleasantly) surprised to hear it.

But following this jack@$$ logic, we have to cancel all of the Law & Order shows and all of the CSI shows (as well as any of the myriad shows like them) because every one of them begins with some (usually horribly violent) crime. We wouldn't want any lunatics copying that, would we?

We have to cancel Rome and the Sopranos -- way too much violence there. Wouldn't want some lunatic to go on a gladius rampage in Little Italy, would we?

What else goes? Hmm, well, pretty much every Lifetime movie, because they always involve some man beating his wife. As we all know, all white men all across the country regularly beat their wives, and its an epidemic we have to stop. But if the lunatics start beating their wives, too... well, then its just all over.

I think we have to take CNN, FOX News, ABC-CBS-NBC, and all MSM news programs off the air, too. They report all the time about crime, violence and even -- plug your ears -- "insurgent activities". Plus, they are (usually) talking about actual, real world events (or at least "fake but accurate" versions thereof). If the lunatics start copying those kinds of things, well, they might start attacking innocent Muslims just because they see Muslims killing our troops over in Iraq all the time and -- oh, wait, that's right... the MSM never shows that, do they?

A lot of lunatics are also prompted to do some very despicable things to completely innocent people by "voices in their heads". So, we need to outlaw those, too. And lunatics are often driven to kill on orders telepathically sent by their dogs, or Zalntaugk the Ultimate Ruler of Time and Space, or the little people that live under their beds. We have to outlaw all of that, too.

Oh, don't forget all of those lunatics driven to commit horrible acts of violence against totally innocent people because their holy men, their holy scriptures, or their "god" told them to do it... We should probably do something about those people, too.

Not dead sure if that was specified. But it was made clear that they chose to do what they did specifically because they loved their country -- America -- and wanted to repudiate any association with the terrorists.
