My apologies if this was posted previously, but if so, I think another can't hurt. "Railroad tracks deformed"-my personal favorite.

Hey, what about "roses on Marilyn Monroe's tomb wilted"?
Dang, they left out cannibalism... If the temps go up another 0.006 deg C, I'm definitely resorting to cannibalism. [mouth drools]

A friend of mine has a son living in the Aspen, CO area. When global warming was mentioned to him, his response was: "what global warming?" since it was 16 degrees below zero where he was living.

Jellyfish Explosion !!!!!!
Who knew those little suckers were prone to detonate when the temperature goes up .006 C. And just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.

Exactly why is the worlds biggest polluter allowed to sign Kyoto but is completely free of all aspects of the Kyoto protocol and its wealth transfer scheme, is it because they are Communists?

I paged down and there is no sex on the list. What is this, the 1950's? Hell, if you want a good scare story, you got to have some sex.
How about this headline.
Rising Temps Turnoff Hot Women: No Nookie for you Mr. Polluter!
Think of the possibilities of the Hollywood starlets telling how they aren't turned on by guys in SUVs. (It's a Gulfstream or nothing baby.)

I notice the list didn't include the Great Lakes, Midwest Valleys (where we get most of our food), Greenland, etc.
As with global warming and now embryonic stem-cell research lies I can't wait until the left decides the next movement will be 2 x 2 equals 5.
They'll have thousands of "mathematicians" tell us we've been wrong all these years. Al Gore will claim is Bush's fault and an evil Republican plot to deny the poor and minorities fair calculated wages.
Then all people that declare they are wrong will be denounced as kooks and haters, right wing extremists and Christians that used to believe the Earth was the center of the universe. Federal money to universities will be withheld from those that don't buy into the fact 2 x 2 equals five.
At the rate the left is going in the United States I won't be surprised if they label those of us that don't buy their lies as "insane" and lock us up in "hospitals" or "schools" to educate, ahem, re-educate us!! Oh wait. Been there done that in under Lenin and Mao.

My favorite was certainly earth explodes. Claims a hotter sweating earth will up the rate of nuclear fission in the crust and the whole world will go supercritical and explode like a planet-sized atom bomb. LOL. Just stark raving mad...

Some guy my wife was watching on network TV tonight said that scientists have determined that the average temperature in Antarctica has risen 3 degrees since 1957, which is causing the icecap to melt. If the average temperature down there was 35 below zero in 1957 and it's now 32 below zero why is the ice melting? Did all that C02 our nasty SUVs and pickups produced change the laws of physics so that ice now melts at 32 below zero instead of 32 above? Something smells fishy about that story, and it aint dead penguins I'm smelling.
I want those scientists to call me when the average temperature down there gets up to 31 above zero so I'll know when to start worrying. That last one degree rise should allow me at least a week or so to load all my stuff worth saving onto my pickup and move to higher ground. I'm living at 1980 feet above sea level now, I wonder how much higher I'll need to go?
