The FBI files on the VVAW reveal that on many occations the North Vietnamese Government would call the VVAW in the United States and advise them in advance about an upcoming NV attack on the South and US troops.
In these contacts the NV would advise the VVAW leaders to start ramping up for anti-war protests because as soon as the NV invaded the South Nixon would start bombing the north.
This is what allowed the VVAW and other anti-war groups to mount such large anti-war protests on what seemed to be very short notice, ie Nixon starts bombing and two days later tens of thousands of protesters were in every major city.
So, Rush states that liberals are afraid that the government will evesdrop on their phone calls but they really have nothing anyone wants to hear.
But, I say that the libearls do not want the government listening in on Terrorists calling the US becasue they are concerned that they may be the recipent of some of those phone calls.
So if they could prevent that from happening they would have free reign on reciving just such calls.
Clink on the link to my home page here at FR and there is a list of almost 50 issues I posted here re: the FBI Files, John Kerry and the VVAW
The link to my about me page is the red link above.

your hypothesis sounds a bit paranoid?
My thought would also be the media (see CNN).
I already know you are wrong, and I haven't even read your post. But I will soon and then tell you why. Understand this -- Rush Limbaugh is NEVER wrong. The truth is true not because there is truth in it, but because Limbaugh said so. I am not kidding. The sooner you realize this, the better your life will be. Ok now back to your post.
Read the lists and see for yourself, the links in the list go right to the FBI Files concerning the VVAW.
"The FBI files on the VVAW reveal that on many occations the North Vietnamese Government would call the VVAW in the United States and advise them in advance about an upcoming NV attack on the South and US troops."
When I was in the army I spent a lot of time at the VVAW store front in Tacoma, which really irritated the army.
Besides the opportunity to try and persuade some misguided people to rethink their positions, I also got to watch fresh North Vietnamese combat propaganda films.
OK now back to your meds.
The Demonrat and Al Queda talking points are so similar sometimes, is it really far fetched to assume the possibility of a direct link somewhere?
After all, there are only 6 degrees of separation anyway...
It does seem that reality adjusts to Rush doesn't it?
Rush is ony right 99.9 percent of the time. And this is one of those very rare times.
I think he is a big enough person to see the error of his position and learn from the FBI files.
Ok now back to your post.
OK now back to your meds.
Me or him?
Absolutely. I have doubted him in the past but later when I thought about the things he said deeper and harder, he turned out to be right. I have realized better than to doubt him. Statistically he has been proven to be correct 98.5% of the time, but in reality I think the number is much larger, much much larger. Even larger than you think.
him.
Great becasue I can't find mine :-)
WRONG. Even Rush admits to an accuracy rate of 98.4%, and even that's wrong. Here's why:
I agree with him about 99.5% of the time. If he has an accuracy rate of only 98.5%, that would mean that I am wrong 1.1% of the time (99.5-98.4). Since I couldn't possibly be wrong that often, it means that Rush is wrong when he claims a 98.4% accuracy rate. It has to be much higher than that - closer to 99.5%.
Well I must go pick up my gradnkids from school and will return in about an hour.
Be back soon.
