The most interesting thing, for me, about this article, is the overwhelming amount of negative comments left by readers. I would no longer post any articles if I were her... Of course, maybe it's in the contract.

"And even though Ive been in this business for more years than Id like to admit, and interviewed countless Presidents and world leaders, its still thrillingand even a little awe-inspiringto get briefed at the White House,
no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office. "What a snide little b*tch she is....

The perky one seems to be mistaken regarding how many women "were at the table".
There weren't any.

Katie appears to be bemoaning the lack of women at the table.
I know Katie types, what Katie was really doing was reminding all women that she was the only woman there.
She was basking in it. Mark my words, this woman hates and competes with other women.
She was reveling in being the only woman.

its still thrillingand even a little awe-inspiringto get briefed at the White House, no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office. In other words, "No matter who is sitting in the Oval Office and no matter how much you despise that person.

When my daughter graduated from college she confided in me. "I've watched you do the career woman thing, and I don't think it is worth it." She decided she wanted to be a trophy wife, instead, and she has a very nice life.

Katie adds nothing to the table. Her point about feminism and how there aren't enough women in congress, etc. is a desire I suppose to see a quota arrangement.
Katie adds nothing to the table of public discourse--only immature femimist "reasonning."

Fifty-one percent of America is female, but women make up only about sixteen percent of Congresswhich, as the Washington Monthly recently pointed out, is better than its ever been...but still not as good as parliaments in Rwanda (forty-nine percent women) or Sweden (forty-seven percent women). Only nine Fortune 500 companies have women as CEOs. YOu know, just this morning, I was thinking that all the problems of this country could be solved if we were just a little bit more like Rwanda...

Looking at the names of those sitting at the table there weren't many men there either.

its a talking point from the lesbian group, "Feminist Majority"
It is a radical womens group that wants all feminist talking points codified into the law.

Wow Katie that's a sexist article. There should have been NO men or women around the table, just professional reporters doing their jobs.
