The most interesting thing, for me, about this article, is the overwhelming amount of negative comments left by readers. I would no longer post any articles if I were her... Of course, maybe it's in the contract.

"And even though I’ve been in this business for more years than I’d like to admit, and interviewed countless Presidents and world leaders, it’s still thrilling—and even a little awe-inspiring—to get “briefed” at the White House, no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office. "

What a snide little b*tch she is....

The perky one seems to be mistaken regarding how many women "were at the table".

There weren't any.

Katie adds nothing to the table. Her point about feminism and how there aren't enough women in congress, etc. is a desire I suppose to see a quota arrangement.
Katie adds nothing to the table of public discourse--only immature femimist "reasonning."

Fifty-one percent of America is female, but women make up only about sixteen percent of Congress—which, as the Washington Monthly recently pointed out, is better than it’s ever been...but still not as good as parliaments in Rwanda (forty-nine percent women) or Sweden (forty-seven percent women). Only nine Fortune 500 companies have women as CEO’s.

YOu know, just this morning, I was thinking that all the problems of this country could be solved if we were just a little bit more like Rwanda...

Looking at the names of those sitting at the table there weren't many men there either.

my favorite....".I must say I am in 100% agreeance with Katie Couric. I think more women should always be allowed at the table, just so long as they're serving food or dancing on it. Oooooohhh yeahhh!"

Wow Katie that's a sexist article. There should have been NO men or women around the table, just professional reporters doing their jobs.
