Hillary won't choose Obama for VP. He brings nothing to her ticket that she doesn't already have.

I agree with you, but I think an even more likely choice for Hillary's VP would be Evan Bayh of Indiana. Midwestern family man, ex-governor, he might flip Indiana and neighboring Ohio to the Dem column. Hillary needs to make inroads on the married midwestern vote, and Bayh gives her the best chance to do that. She will get the black and hispanic vote regardless. Did you know Bayh accompanied Hillary to Iraq this past week?

People in Indiana do like Bayh but they hate Hillary even more.

They will be happy to return Evan to the Senate.

I didn't. But I thought it curious that he dropped out of the race so early. Maybe the 'fix' was already in for him to be her VP.

I interpreted that as an audition for the VP slot. Hillary is going to try and win the nomination as a center-right Dem. She knows a leftist can not win a national election. Byah is a center-right Dem. (when not answering to a leftie Dem caucus.)
