1991 The Persian Gulf War begins.
The massive U.S.-led offensive against Iraq --
Operation Desert Storm -- ended on February 28, 1991,
when President George Bush declared a cease-fire,
and Iraq pledged to honor future coalition and U.N. peace terms.

Keeper of the ping list, yes. That's why I read every post there -- I have to keep up with the requests to be added. At the same time, I'm getting a lot of good recommendations (but none as good as the Dr. Pepper mentioned in a recent thread entitled "Sugar".)

Good one. You know, I don't know why I stopped watching MAD TV. They had sketches that reminded me of how good SNL used to be. Then again, they had some horrible stuff mixed in, too.

Actually, I finally stopped watching TV after 11pm on Saturday nights.
