"OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - Seven Mexican nationals were killed early on Sunday in Oklahoma when their minivan skidded into a tractor-trailer truck in icy conditions, police said."

Local news, also referring to them as "citizens of Mexico," mentioned that they refused to talk to the rescuers, and that they had no identification. Hmmm...
I'm sure they were well insured so the trucker will get his truck fixed for free. Sac off
Does this mean the morning shift at the Atoka McDonald's is cancelled?
Update from The Oklahoman:
Van crash survivors identified
Authorities have released the identities of survivors from a deadly crash involving a minivan and tractor trailer on Interstate 40 near Elk City on Sunday.
About 4 a.m., the eastbound minivan, carrying 12 adults, apparently hit a slick spot on the interstate and skidded across the median into westbound traffic, according to the patrol. An oncoming tractor-trailer smashed into the van.
Six men and one woman died in the wreck, said highway patrol Capt. Chris West.
The five survivors from the van are:
Gaudencio P. Perez, 17, of Mexico taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for serious injuries;
Sergio Yanez-Martinez, taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for serious injuries;
Mitxi Vasquez, 21, of Mexico taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for serious injuries;
Pedro Valdez, 56, of Mexico taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for minor injuries and has since been released;
Eurgencio V. Gonzalez, 20, of Durham, North Carolina taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for serious injuries.
The patrol identified the truck driver as Donal Ray Reeves, 54, of Midwest City. He was not hurt in the accident.
Survivors from the van told the patrol they were en route from Arizona to North Carolina when the crash happened, West said.
. Lt. Bob Turner of the Elk City Police Department said the minivan apparently faced the tractor-trailer head-on at the time of impact.
"It was a horrible wreck. It just tore the van up. It crushed it," he said.
Sounds like so-called 'migrant workers'. Since the freeze has damaged lots of California crops, I'm sure the big $$$$$ will be on the east coast now...
I'm sure the victims all had great insurance to cover all those medical bills and vehicle repair bills, right?
Right?
Anyone?
Beuller??
The same insurance that doesn't pay off when they hit innocent Oklahomans.
'Migrant workers' -- yeah right -- going to pick icicles I guess on the way! :)
Now Oklahomans are stuck paying the bills! I wondered when I first heard about this with the time of day and the amount of people in a van.
Yes.
Oh yes, of course it is, and that's nothing. Pretty soon they will be called "dual citizens." That's because pretty soon they will be legal, thanks to the traitors in DC!!
They had little documentation because the groups here in the good ole US of A that encourage them to come North tell them to check their ID's at the border, that way when they are stopped there is no way to "prove" they are illegal... at least not right away.
Now the good citizens of Oklahoma get to pay for their medical care.
starbase was only giving you the quote from Tony's statement.
Yeah, if they were big time cocaine dealers, the President would have pardoned them just before Christmas.
Yep... I wouldn't be shocked if the border patrol all walk off the job one of these days.... all, that is, except people like the guy that turned those two in AFTER the alien's mother contacted the AZ Border Patrol Agents MIL and told her what happened (allegedly) and the BP Agents MIL was taking this alien back and forth across the border to El Paso for medical treatment... somehow any way you cut it, the whole thing stinks.
To bad President Bush doesn't read this.
Wow. I've been looking at minivans, but I'm unfamiliar with any having room enough for more than 8 passengers. I wonder which company manufactures one for 12?
I know one thing, we have accidents like this, overloaded mini-vans, all too often here on our Arizona highways and that is without snow and ice on the highways.
There is such a thing as load limits and ability to brake and control a vehicle. Autos built for 7 and carrying 12 and heaven knows what kind of tires is an accident waiting for us to pay the medical bills or the funeral.
Which hospital is paying to care for the illegals? I think we should send them "suckers" en masse.
I wonder when the illegals will file a lawsuit...
