I am the mother of one son who is 18 years old and currently considering a career with the Marines. Should he make this choice, I would be extremely proud of him. Our family fully understands the potential risks of joining the military and would support him in the decision 100%. That being the case, may I speak up regarding your ridiculous and insulting treatment of Miss Rice yesterday? Kindly apologize and then STFU!

As a man who was unable to have children until late in life I condemn the slutty remarks made by Senator Boxer. I feel strongly that Senator Boxer owes Secretary Rice an open and above board apology; and, she should make that apology right now!

As the son of a WWII vet; as one who served myself; and one who is the father of a current US Marine I find Senator Boxers remarks about paying a price stupid, arrogant and wholly unwarranted.
