Nifong is an animated example of prosecutorial misconduct. He should immediately be bought before the disciplinary committee of the Carolina Bar for his conduct. And he should be removed from office immediately.
And this "forensic expert" should be utterly ashamed of himself. He let this farce continue to the detriment of what more and more appears to be the three completely innocent young men, which reminds me of the saying "all that evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing."
The ultimate knockout was tonight on the Greta Van Susteren program, when the panelist said that the entire DA's office, all the ADAs, should be held accountable. Yowza!

This was NOT a "big error". A "big error" is forgetting your anniversary and having no gift when you come home for dinner.
This was a criminal conspiracy. They KNEW these kids were innocent, but Nifong pressed on with the help of this disgraceful "expert".
The MSM is turning on Nifong. They have decided that he is a lost cause, and that it will be much more fun to bring him down than to try to pretend that this was a legitimate case of white boys raping a black victim.
With the media all piling on like this, Nifong is toast.

The DNA lab ought not to even know what case its DNA is from. It should be a black box...blind samples come in, blind results come out.

However this case comes out, it should forevermore be a criminal offense to sell a shovel to an ambitious prosecutor.
Nifong needs to do the most honorable thing and dismiss all the charges immediately. There is absolutely no chance that any jury is going to convict these kids of anything now. None. And if by some strange chance they did, it would be thrown out on appeal.

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know if this is possible ... but I *hope* this is grounds for a huge civil suit against Nifong. I'd love to see him living on the street in a cardboard box. Then let him scream "class warfare!"
Hmmm? Just wondering of Nifong could face a recall effort, from the voters, to remove him from office? This would deny him the 3+yrs plus he says he needs for retirement.
