Pittsburg is as close to a 'ghetto' as it gets in the north east bay area. One area, officially known as 'Bay Point' is commonly called 'Gun Point', but that goes back a few years.
Sad that he was killed, but few live in Pittsburg by choice, more do so by circumstance.

Hm. Their founding editor, Andrew something, died at an early age. Another of their top people jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge, IIRC. Now this. Seems working at that magazine is hazardous to one’s health.
