Ms.B
Catholic retreat weekend on St. Valentine's Day 1986.
Those same skeptical family members and friends now seek out her advice, friendship, and company and consider her the solid rock/foundation of the family.
Sarah has beautiful eyes. Rest of her is pretty too.
Come on over Luv...we'll save you a slice. :)
That is such a sweet story and a true love story. *sigh*
Thank you for sharing it with us tonight!
Always remember those good times.
BTW...thanks for your service to your country.
I look forward to it...and listening to the "Cats" and hugging my Sis again...and ....and....it's gonna take a month! LOL!
Wish I could, (((Twin)))
:D
So beautiful,Thank you Trillian.
Oh My Gosh, how she's growing up! And slimming down.
But that smile hasn't changed any, has it?
Y'know, I just went back and finished reading the gramma-to-be-thread and I can't get over how wonderful having grandkids feels.
You must be on Cloud 9 every time one of them comes over to visit. I know that's how we feel when we see Piper...I'm going to have to sneak another picture in here soon...
Lonely 25 y/o. My good ole superior liked me at work and said he knew someone that fit my "religious and political" profile. BUT... She wanted a picture of me first, and all I had was a "Sam's card photo id". I sent it and she left word to start a conversation, which I did via telephone... She agreed to meet me for a date, her mom actually drove her to the meeting place (local quik-mart) to meet (she didn't want me to know her home in case I was a nut or something). Well we had great first date/movie and things looked good for a second date. We set a second date time...
Called second date and she said "nope"... Her voice was basically gone and she said she was sick. Well I figured this was just a cop-out, but I wasn't giving up. I asked my mom what was up, and I explained that I really like this sweet little thing, Mom said "make her a fruit basket". Well, I did, and took probable the largest fruit basket in history to her. She was actually surprised and invited me in to meet her sister. Then she got to feeling better, we went on a second great date. Then a third...
1 year later married.
13 years later still happily married and.... I still take occasional advice from Mom cause she tends to know more than I originally gave her credit for.
