Lt. Col talking on MSNBC says we're having a lot of success the last few weeks in the WOT.

It's because Congress has been out, the transition of power is keeping everyone busy, and the MSM is busy slobbering over the dems and their 100-hours.

They thought President Bush and our military would have the holidays off, like they do, so they haven't been haranguing them as much as usual.

IOW- the good guys have been left alone to do their jobs.

I suspect that the US Naval buildup around Iran was a ruse to hit Somalia instead.

Makes sense to me. Unless the US Navy is going to fly cover for an Israel air strike, there's not enough firepower to sustain the sorties needed to hit those hardened facilities with any degree of success aboard those carriers. Not using conventional ordinance.

Future generations will not remember Bush as the solid moral character or the aggressive tax cutter. Only how he does in the wars he waged. I think he knows that, but more importantly, he knows the stakes of failure or success for America.
