I agree. Even though I opined in another post that I would have even like to have had him fed to the shredder I have no desire to see it. I just want some sort of justice for the thousands and thousands of people who suffered under his regime.

They're taking out their trash sooner than we're beginning to rid ourselves of the rubish in Gitmo.

That's actually the angle part of the masseter section of his jawbone that is protruding through the small wound. The flesh over it was torn by rope.

What is that red thing in the video? It looks like a little red rubber ball. And I think it's gonna be all right.
Yeah, the worst is over,
Now that Saddam's neck is shining
like a Red Rubber Ball.

Looks like it hurt a bit. GOOD. After watching the choppy bootlegged video last week, I was amazed that his head wasn't jerked off his shoulders. The amount of slack they had in the rope between the noose and the rope's anchor point was amazingly huge!
Based on that, I surmise that he must have dropped about 6-8 feet before stopping. Surely, his neck was broken instantly.

Vertebra? The knot was in front of his left shoulder, the force should have been right about there as shown.
