I can't believe something tested positive multiple times (nevermind the dog failing to respond) and it's all OK.
Surely their test kits can't all be defective.

There were grackles, sparrows and pigeons killed in Austin today. This entire day makes me ask, "What the H*** is going on today?"
I am fearing this is a trial run for something much larger.

Schnitt said that they exploded sprinkler parts which gave off a fale positive for C4.

What's the typical shelf life of canned goods in a tin can? Don't they age out due to leaching from the container, like ten years or something?
To: Arrowhead1952
What could have possibly done that?

actually a good example of what it was was shown in the way the norman oklahoma bomb-event was handled, but of course that was completely blacked out, except for the father of the muslim-convert son going on a national talk circuit within day s to say his son wasn't a terrorist, just depressed, etc.

Maybe, or maybe not. I think those guys may be getting a second look in light of this new information.

Yikes. What is going on today? Probing our response systems?
Thanks for the ping -- I'll try and get caught up on this story.

"stations reported why there was only a puff of smoke when they detonated the package. That's because they only wanted to open the package, not detonate it."
This doesn't make a lot of sense to me! "It's okay. Don't worry! I'm just gonna blast open this drum of gunpowder with a cherry bomb. Don't worry!"
