It's because too many people with very small dogs treat them like children and don't assert their alpha status, the dogs then get into beliveing they are the leader of the pack and can appear to be very vicious as a result... no matter how small, or how cute, they need to learn from birth they are not in charge... also, alot of dogs are very negatively affected mentally and physically from too many vaccinations.

"Lucy" seems to be a popular name for a pet now, eh?

I have a cat named Lucy, another named Lily, both calico girls. They regularly beat Jo-Ann, swat at her nose.

The cats sit and talk amongst themselves. By them, Jo-Ann is a big galoot dog.

Heh.

Submission to democrat platform, ie increased socialism, etc
Conversion of enough Americans to conservative political positions to overcome the power of the dnc media.

This is exactly why Democrats ignore polls when they are losing.  IF they can get to 51% on anything they hammer the other side, hoping to create a me-to effect to grow the numbers.  They will also use any slight partial agreement for a position to claim overwhelming support as they claim the other side has changed and now agrees with them.

Before he was elected Attorney General of Delaware, Beau Biden's position was used by his father, "Plugs," who didn't hesitate to bloviate and fudge the truth, but he may have raised a son who gives it back to him. Biden's been known to shamelessly use his son's status in some of his ramblings about the Geneva Conventions discussions ..leading folks to believe Beau was active duty.

Fact is, his son Beau was in the Delaware National Guard .. doing stateside work as a judge advocate!!!

Remember that the next time you hear his faux outrage about anything .... I think Beau must've dressed him down, and good for him.

And Michelle didn't miss it.

JOE BIDEN IS A WEASEL
By Michelle Malkin · June 14, 2004

If you got the impression last week that Joe Biden has a son in the military on active duty in the Gulf, that's exactly the impression he wanted to give. While hissing at Attorney General John Ashcroft last week about the so-called "torture memos" and the Geneva Convention, Sen. Biden made a grand stand of noting that "there's a reason why we sign these treaties -- it's to protect my son in the military."

Biden's son, Beau, has been serving in the Delaware Army National Guard since last August, when he was commissioned a first lieutenant doing legal work as a judge advocate. He is serving honorably--and according to this article, he would be doing so without fanfare if not for his braying, exploitative stage dad.

Based on Sen. Biden's backtracking on the weekend talk show circuit, it seems as though Beau may have given his shameless dad a dressing down. On Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Biden slyly amended his remarks about his son: "I don't have a son in the Gulf. He hasn't been called yet."

And even if he is, the chances of Beau ending up on a battlefield and being captured are slim to none.

How low can you go, Joe???

I didn't know any of this. Very interesting. Beau may just be a notch or several above his dad in the "character" department.

Thanks for sharing.

Off to eat dinner now - glazed bacon, sprouts, green beans, new potatoes.

Sweet probably mince pie and cream or a slice of the Christmas cake.

See you all next week.

OMG .. my heart's been in my throat, reading this. The sound of attacking dogs just puts me into such verklempt-ness. What a horrible attack. I feel so badly for your JoAnn ... I LOVE dogs .. BIG dogs. First time in my life I don't have a dog.

I sure hope she's OK ... thank God you took her to the vet right away. That cocker was in kill mode if he could get that much of a chunk out of JoAnn to get that bleed.

Your neighbors have some nerve !!! I agree with PukinDog: not ONE conciliatory word to them, and don't relent from your assertively firm position of righteous anger. The damn liberals are looking for somebody else to pay their way everywhere, aren't they? To H*LL with them. I wish someone had had a video running.

Are there any witnesses? Both other dogs were OFF leash?

Prayers that you, JoAnn, your grandbaby and family can get over this upset soon. It's so traumatic. If they continue to hassle you, I'd definitely get a lawyer and send the cease and desist letter.

When it comes to the dems we must assume there is NO low too low.

The dwell in the gutter and live amongst the slime. That's their environment and they enjoy it there.

I'm glad Laura did not wait too long to replace her beloved Troy.

Some people wait, because a dog cannot just be replaced. But another dog can be just as special in its own way.

To leftists anything that they feel is right IS right. So a 51% majority in their favor is a mandate. At the same time the use of the 60-40 vote in the Senate for any item distasteful to them is okay.

Feelings trump thoughts in our brains, because feelings cannot be argued.
We have to train ourselves to use the 'feelings' approach to leftist positions.

"Peace is Patriotic" is a popular lawn sign in my neighborhood of yuppies. I can't say "No, it's not, you are asking for surrender!" But I can say, "how do you feel about giving in to tyrants?" When I see a quizzical response in the neighbor's eye, I follow up with "how do you feel about muslim prayer rooms in American public schools?" knowing that this particular neighbor takes pride in sending her children to the local public school.

I am only trying to introduce some thinking synapse activity in her brain, but cannot start by 'offending' her with a 'do you think' question. She will hear that as an 'attack' on her feelings.
