According to Little Green Footballs, this story was broke by the Associated (with Islamic Terrorists) Press (AP), yet oddly enough, the only place it could be found other then LGF and a handful of other blogs was on YNET.

After countless declarations of peaceful intentions of nuclear plan, Iran’s chief nuclear envoy confirms fears by saying if county is threatened, situation may change

First off, if Iran is not developing nuclear weapons as they say they are not, then how in Mohammad the Cartoon’s name are they going to “Nuke” us?

I’m sure Nancy Pelosi and John Conyers are getting right on this while I am quite sure that Sylvestre Reyes is Still trying to figure out the differences between Sunnis and Shiites.

Most recently, the Iranian Midget Dictator Ahamdinejad stated that Jesus and the 12th Imam would be appearing during the spring equinox, making what I think is a thinly veiled threat of when he plans to strike at the United States and Israel.

Yes, the Oprah crowd is energized. They don't have time
for those nuclear problems. Self esteem is the answer!

Will Dr. Phil be an advisor to "stretch" Pelosi?

I did a Google news search and found the article on 38 different sites, including the NYT and IHT . I guess old Ze'ev never heard of Google.

Iran Says It Will Use Nuclear Weapons It doesn’t Have If Necessary

Iran’s chief nuclear envoy Ali Larijani said that Iran has no nuclear weapons and has no plans to develop nuclear weapons, but warned that it will use them if necessary to ensure that Jews or their satanic U.S. allies provoke his country or resist Allah’s will. “We oppose obtaining nuclear weapons and we will peacefully use nuclear technology under the framework of the Nonproliferation Treaty, but if we are threatened, we will blast the infidels to Hell,” Larijani said.

Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who is also the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said Iran has stored its non-weapons in bomb-proof, impregnable underground tunnels at a nuclear facility in Isfahan to protect it from any possible attack. “Today, we have produced more than enough uranium for 250 nuclear bombs,” Aghazadeh boasted. “Of course, we would never make bombs, but we will use them if we have to.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said international sanctions won’t stop Iran from enriching uranium. “Iran will stand up to coercion,” Ahmadinejad promised. “Every Iranian stands ready to sacrifice his life to defend our nuclear rights.”

Iran has condemned as “Invalid” And “Illegal” a UN Security Council resolution that imposes sanctions against the Islamic Republic for refusing to halt uranium enrichment. “Resolutions passed by unbelievers are invalid and illegal under Muslim law,” Ahmadinejad asserted. “For these enemies to assume that they can prevent the progress of the Iranian nation through psychological war and issuing resolutions is insane.”

In related news, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader of the Senate, Harry Reid (D-Nev.), sent a letter to President Bush urging him to “give up this hopeless war on terror.” Rather than bank on a “troop surge” to turn the tide in Iraq, the letter advised a “more realistic approach that would give each and every American a clear opportunity to convert to Islam to avoid being slaughtered by the irresistible might of Allah’s armies.”

At the time of writing it, there was little to no mention of the threat in the MSM.

I actually have a real job during the day, so I write on my breaks, write some more later, and usually publish in the evening. Sorry for not being more timely with my stuff. I don't get paid to write, I just enjoy writing as a hobby. I use google all the time by the way, thank you.

GOD forbid that either of these idiots throws their full support behind a DIM candidate. It would be a tragic landslide that would doom us all.

Nancy thinks it's just "sweet little sectarian violence", ignore it and it will go away.

And here's the kind of headline that showed up in US newspapers from your (KarinG1) google news search.

"Iran Should Give Sanctions ‘Serious Response,’ China Says"

Foreign newspapers were hardly more honest with their headlines.

But headlines about British often alleged exposures of Israel's supposed plans regarding Iran are rather exaggerated toward starting a fight between Iran and Israel. The media have obviously been trying to subdue news about Iran's nuclear intents against the USA and western Europe. Most Iranian threats against the USA haven't gone much further than Iranian news outlets.

Have they actually said they will "nuke us" or anything like that?

I really don't know if they have BunnySlippers. If they have, they didn't do it in my presence. It seems likely to me, however, that they would nuke us if they got the opportunity. Hopefully we won't ever have to find out.

Your writing is a great thing, moreh. Keep it up.

The most sure way that Iran can finish building a nuclear arsenal is for its leaders to continue ranting about Israel and using popular, western media as a conduit. The ranting against Israel makes most western Europeans and some US volks of certain religious identities more gleeful and less afraid.

Iran is preparing to do an end run around Israel with those nukes to go after others, IMO. The mullahs, most of their people, and their "friendly" cells all over our western countries don't want to launch on a defensive umbrella over a tiny country. Iran wants an exchange with a nation that doesn't have such a defense but has a high and mighty reputation. And Iran wants casualties on both sides in order to start a larger, more intense conflict.

Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who is also the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said Iran has kept the uranium hexaflouride gas, or UF-6, in underground tunnels at a nuclear facility in Isfahan to protect it from any possible attack.

"Today, we have produced more than 250 tons of UF-6. Should you visit Isfahan, you will see we have constructed tunnels that are almost unique in the world," State-run television quoted Aghazadeh as saying.

They're "almost unique?" So which country also has them? China? Russia?

I never heard, but do they have such a passion for solar power, wind power? Being so desperate for energy, maybe they should explore all of their options, just in case this nuclear thing doesn't pan out. /s

Well, the article specifically states that Iran "threatens nuclear strike against America". That is a declarative statement.

But it appears to be made up unless there is some article somewhere that they said it.

I understand your concerns BunnySlippers, but I didn't write or post the article. I just commented on it. You should address your questions to roguejew1965. He knows way more about the situation than I do.

Iran, like North Korea are petulant children who need a spanking.

Iran is using the "you attack us, there goes your oil."
Israel should just say, "we don't buy your oil" and tell the UN that whoever does buy Iranian oil better start looking to other vendors.

Neither America nor Israel understand that threatening to blow up Irans nuclear sites will do nothing. What will do something is the pressure put on Iran by China and Europe to stop, knowing that they won't be getting oil from Iran for the next 100 years.

One explosion right off Irans main oil terminal should be enough for the loony in Iran to come to the table. It will have two results, either they will stop their program or there will be a coup.

I am quite sure that Sylvestre Reyes is Still trying to figure out the differences between Sunnis and Shiites.

Actually, I'm trying to get a handle on that myself. It seems like the argument is something about the Mohammad spiritual legacy attaching to one following imam or muktar or something vs. the legacy attaching to four imams or muktars or some such. One of the groups follows one of those traditions, and the other group follows the other. So they hate and kill each other for reasons even more subtle not knowing how to pray correctly.

Since Mohammad was about as spiritual as a diamond back, I guess I'd be ambivalent as to which sect I would convert to.
