Pelosi: 43% Have Favorable Opinion of New House Speaker

Forty-three percent (43%) of Americans have a favorable opinion concerning the nation's new Speaker of the House. The first woman to serve in that role, Nancy Pelosi (D) earns favorable reviews from 45% of women and 41% of men. A Rasmussen Reports survey of 800 Likely Voters found that, overall, 39% have an unfavorable opinion of the Speaker.
Those numbers reflect a significant improvement for Pelosi since November. At that time, just 24% had a favorably opinion of her while 40% held an unfavorable view.
Pelosi's predecessor, Dennis Hastert (R), was viewed favorably by 24% of Americans at the time his party lost control of Congress. In December, just 11% of Americans gave the outgoing Congress good or excellent reviews.
Sixty-six percent (66%) of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Pelosi. Sixteen percent (16%) have an unfavorable opinion while 18% are not sure.
Among Republicans, just 17% have a favorable person of the woman in charge of the people's House. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 41% offer a favorable assessment.
Pelosi is viewed as politically liberal by 52% of Americans and moderate by 22%. Just 5% consider her conservative and 20% are not sure.

If she were with the GOP (God forbid) the headline would be "57% do not approve of new Speaker of the House".
Ah, but they ARE getting to know her now. Why, she is a conservative Catholic, a mother of five, a grandmother who cherishes babies - as American as Apple Pie and San Francisco. (Oops, strike San Francisco.)

How many people did they have to call to get to the 800 who knew who she is? Heard something about another poll that said most Americans don't recognize her name. Anyone else know about this second poll?
If you believe Polls, this proves that the American people are being dumbded down effectively. MSM Pimps should be proud.
That means 43% of Americans haven't got the vaguest idea who this witch is.

That rating will drop to the low double to single digit zone shortly.
Geez, I was optimistic in assuming only 30% or so of Americans were total boobs, but now they're telling us it's 47%.

Easy to see why 43% give her a favorable rating if 48% don't even know she's a liberal.
