Well....imagine THIS....you check into a nice hotel somewhere in Brazil (sorry, don't remember where or name).....and decide you should place your Canadian passport in the hotel SAFE - actually, the hotel advises you to.....and then, voila....it gets stolen.....YEP....happened to a friend of a friend who is Canadian.
