As one comedian once wrote that your car says a lot about you...........If you own a Honda, it says, "I am a lemming. Shoot me."......
Amazing. I will be interested to see how many of them are on the road after the useful life of the first battery expires...
Spent New Years weekend in Victoria BC. At least half of the cabs were Prius. While not my personal favorite, I was surprised by how roomy they were.
"In the oh-so-rich suburbs of Boston (as well as in Cambridge) hybrids have replaced the Lexus as *the* car to own.I drove by a Whole Foods Market ($15/lb "free range" chicken) located right down the street from where The Former Twelfth Lady went to college the other day and half the cars in the lot were those silly looking Toyota hybrids."
Out here on the left coast, I have to admit to "hybrid envy;" they get to drive in the car pool lanes with one person in the car! That can make hours of difference in southern California gridlock. It makes any business person give hybrids serious consideration.
Imagine that, fuel prices are up so people buy more efficient cars...without regulations trying to force them to do so!
LOL!
