In the spirit of holding our political leaders accountable, this year-end review will tabulate the worst lies told by Bush and company, along with several stories that were underreported in the media. Much of what was generated got lost in the fog of war, but the long arm of history will retrieve these moments. As the president said in his news conference this week, if theyre still writing about No. 1George Washingtontheres plenty of time before the historians can properly evaluate No. 43. Judging by the mess in Iraq, it could be 200 or 300 yearsif everbefore Bush is vindicated.
Bush has shifted his rhetoric in deference to the grim and deteriorating reality on the ground in Iraq. Asked by a reporter on Oct. 25 if we are winning the war, Bush said, Absolutely, were winning. Offered the opportunity at his press conference to defend that statement, Bush has adopted a new formulation. He now says, Were not winning, but were not losing. That sounds like the definition of a quagmire.

"Hillary's de facto press secretary is heard from."
I hate that old hag. I also detest Hillary.
"Not winning but not losing." Sounds like Klinton don't it? Hit yer knees bit-h!!!
Ah, Eleanor Clift. Knew I smelled something and thought I'd burnt my dinner, but nope.
There's got to be some medication she can be on to help her with her delusional state.
Why did you post this garbage?
Who holds the media mafia accountable?
One time Tony Blankley told Elenor Clift that if Clinton gunned down an old lady, she (Clift) would defend Clinton by saying that the old lady had to die sometime anyway. Clift is pathetic.
Could we just move on past this screeching nobody? There was a movie star by the name of Montgomery Clift in the 50s and 60s. Eleanor married his brother. She was a secretary at Newsweek, as I recall, but because of her brother's relationship with a third rate movie star, she carved out a career of screeching on TV, and Newsweek richly rewarded her with status.
It is called demographics, I think.
"Why did you post this garbage?" "Know thy enemy" was one of our mottos in military intelligence.
Really disgusting hag. Ran after Clinton with a mattress tied to her back.
Eleanor is just an understudy for Helen Thomas.

I agree with all that you say, but Montgomery Clift was NOT a third-rate movie star. He was a fine actor who earned at least one, if not more, Academy Award nominations. He unfortunately had many personal demons and addictions and died prematurely in the later 60's.
I believe I got that whole relationship wrong. She married the brother of Montgomery Clift.
Burn Newswwek and all the liberal treators
One time Tony Blankley told Elenor Clift that if Clinton gunned down an old lady, she (Clift) would defend Clinton by saying that the old lady had to die sometime anyway. And if Bush provides prescription drugs to old ladies, it's the same as pushing them, in their wheel-chairs, down the stairs.
Burn news week!
I don't have to now that I no longer subscribe to it. Stopped four yrs, ago, would advise others to do the same!!!!
