It's possible that C-SPAN and Brian Lamb brought Imus back to life by televising his radio show back in the 90's. After that MSNBC hired him. I had never heard of Imus and first saw him on C-Span.

Just wait and watch Imus kiss John McCain's a$$ once McCain formally announces his candidacy. Imus has already stated on air that if McCain runs for president in 08 he'll endorse him whether Kerry runs or not. I think the I-man is probably the biggest fair weathered fan that ever was, his tone and tenor are completely dependent on whoever he's speaking to at the time. So don't take him seriously, he goes with the wind.
