With so many Saddam look alikes it wouldn't take a lot to see him walking around. Wonder how many doubles he did have?

You'd think he'd be too busy with his 72 virgins to be doing a haunting. Maybe he's hoping to make ceramics with Patrick Swayze.

There's a joke about Stalin doing that.

A few days after Stalin's death, the Devil appears at the Pearly Gates and begs St. Peter to either let him in or to take Stalin, who has overthrown Satin.

St. Peter just shakes his head and says, "For years, you begged and pleaded for a human just as mean and nasty as yourself. And now that you have one, you want to give him back."

To this, the Devil replies, "Well, yes, but I didn't think you all would actually do it."

They're probably just seeing me.

Oh, except that I'm not in Baghdad. Right.

Maybe pro-terrorist Father Benjamin made a deal with the devil to make Hussein stick around in purgatory until his followers can pay for enough indulgences to spring him. It's going to take a whole lot of oil vouchers but you never know...

One's perception pre-loads the image expected.

I have thought I have seen dead people going past in a taxi, or passing distantly in the street.

It's not, but your mind cannot accept the state of non-existence and searches its known list of reasons why persons are not immediately present. Such as being somewhere else.

The first time it happened I was mildly surprised, the second, I was ready for it and realised what it was.

your picture reminded me of my suggestion for his method of execution.

Put him in a ten foot deep steel tank, place toilet seats over the top and let the populace drown him in a sea of Shiite..

Slow, foul and degrading, and great retribution for those that he had beaten and then thrown in raw sewage, and the added value is that thousands could particpate and feel they had made a "contribution" to his death.
