So how many can fit in the Generals shower?
Gays were always there, we never made a big deal out of it so long as they didn't bother those who wanted nothing to do with them. Their percentages were very small. I don't think they are going to rush to join even if they OK it.
Isn't this the general that Ketchup boy always quoted?
This guy was a Clintonista general. He has always wanted homosexuals in the Army.
Is it just me, or does "Shalikashvili" sound like the name of a top flight hairdresser. I'm just sayin...
Isn't this the guy whose father was a Colonel in the Waffen-SS? Wonder what their policy was on "gays in the military"?
Believe so an ex-general.
Who cares what sexual orientation soldiers are. If they can learn and execute soldiers skills, then they should be soldiers. If they get up to their low down , sneaky, net workin tricks, and usurp the chain of command,or desert in the face of the enemy, then shoot them.
Thats why don't ask , don't tell is by far the best policy. When you shoot a deserter, it then is not because he was gay, or hetero, it was becuase he was a deserter period.
No, we do NOT want to go there.
He was the worst CJCS of my tenure in the military.
I think it ill be called the "Brokeback Brigade". Good for a Hollywood movie. The only group to attack from the rear!
I am sick and tired of these ex-Generals with their comments. I never particularly liked the guy and was so happy when he retired. I loved General Myers and wish he was back because he was class all the way as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and has remained class as the retired Chairman of Joint Chiefs. Gen Myers and SecDef Rumsfeld made a great pair IMHO!
Would love to have this former Army 4-star and Stormin' Norman in a room.
General Franks is moving back to OK and rumor has it he will be running for office here as a Republican.
He's probably a closeted peter-puffer himself.
Cash-veal-ee was/is Clinton's lap dog. Whatever he's selling, I ain't buying!
Marching song: "I Had a Comrade (Literally)"
Recruiter "Can you kill a man?"
Queer "Yeth, but it would take me thimply hours and hours".
I've been retired longer than I was in, and as I look back and remember many who I believe were probably gay, I say, right on, Shali. Who gives a crap. If a man (or woman) can do their job without having a negative effect on their unit, let them serve. Shali was drafted in 58, went to OCS and retired as a four star. His opinion means something to me.
No surprise from a Clintonista.
I guess he forgot to fade away.....
Some of us here in Florida tried to get him to run against Nelson.
