This pandering on the part of TSA is unbelievable. Who is in charge there, and what are they trying to prove? They lifted, intact, info from the CAIR press release and put it in a government press release without even bother to rewrite it, including praise for how wonderful CAIR is. So, you have to wonder who is in charge of their press shop, and who is in charge of this agency. And does the Bush administration even know this is going on?

More from TSA website. You have wonder to whom this is aimed, or is it part of a TSA PR initiative to explain Islam to a wider audience? And in any case, why are US taxpayer paying for it?:
Hajj Travel Information
The Hajj is a significant religious event for Muslims and is one of the five pillars of Islam. Many observant Muslims perform Hajj, making a pilgrimage to Mecca and Madinah, two cities in Saudi Arabia. Each year, more than a million pilgrims take part in the Hajj, including thousands of Americans.
The travel period this year for the Hajj will likely commence several days before the December 21 onset of the pilgrimage (approximately December 16, 2006) and end several days after its December 30 conclusion (approximately January 6, 2007).
Many Muslims believe that the water from a well in Mecca is divinely blessed and often return with containers of water. Travelers returning from Hajj who wish to bring back water should pack it in their checked baggage if the container is larger than three ounces, pursuant to TSAs 3-1-1 liquids regulations.

The TSA made me take off my shoes twice in two airports and it body searched me twice. An American is not as deserving of sensitivity as an adherent of the Religion Of Peace. As far as the TSA is concerned, 911 is history.

"The more the American people learn about CAIR, the more odious they are going to find it, and the more outraged they are going to be that the Bush administration which for now embodies the Republican party in the public mind has cozied up to it."Someone remind me again why so many of us think W "gets" the W.O.T.? If the likes of Boxer and Durbin can say they have problems with CAIR, why can't Bush?

Lemme see.... during WWII FDR rounded up Japanese Americans and moved them into detention centers.
Today in WWIII, we publish press releases extolling our belief in P C multiculturalism, while Islamofascists demand (and receive) more rights than Baptists and Methodists.
Mind-bending absurdity to say the least.
