I'm sure we'll hear from Kayne West and Spike Lee about this

Gotta love Gorebal warming. Yeah, I know it's not the reason, but someone will claim it is!.

I really, really, really do not understand why we're attempting to rebuild this city where it is and invite nature to re-destroy it. It is my understanding that a great deal of the original infrastructure was completely ruined. Why not rebuild, I don't know, where everything doesn't work against them?

They say the only reason Texas doesn't slip into the Gulf of Mexico is because Oklahoma sucks.
To: mfnorman
Obviously, this is W's fault.

I really, really, really do not understand why we're attempting to rebuild this city ... Because it's a city full of Liberals and as we all know, it's never about what makes sense and it's always about what makes them "feel good".

As a resident of Houston, I just hope for the sake of Louisiana that they never have to ask for help from Texas again...

BREAKING NEWS: The Imperial Federal Government led by the Totalitarian Socialist Dimocratic People's Abortion Party of Marxists stated today that New Orleans and the state of Louisiana will be relocated. Socialist Dims are currently in negotiations with senators and congress-critters of their Marxist party to relocate the state and city to other areas of the country. Currently, it is being discussed that areas of Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, eastern Colorado will be taken away to form the new state of Louisiana and the new city of Neu New Orleans. All would be relocated at the expense of the imperial federal government and all jobs and government hand outs, plus a new house for all would be paid for by the RICH of America with a new Neu New Orleans Relocation Tax. More at 11.

It would be a lot cheaper to physically move the French Quarter to a new location (theme park?) farther north, then let nature take its course with the rest of New Orleans.
To: mfnorman
This "new" study only repeats what we have known in Louisiana for decades (at least). Yet we needed another study? Sheesh.
