I always thought Susan was a doll, too. One of the prettiest Presidential children in my lifetime.

Hope they play "Hail to the Victor's' which would be fitting when they arrive in Grand Rapids! One of my all time favorite fight songs.

Was Clinton at James Brown's funeral? I figured he would be there since he never misses a chance to play professional mourner.

Thanks for the live thread, Mo1. I had to leave a few hours ago and taped the services and will watch later this afternoon when my husband comes home.

I have no idea if Slick was there or not but wouldn't surprise me if he was. All I could think of was this was a dry-run for Clinton's funeral.

Did Chris Wallance just say he's never heard the Lord's Prayer sung before??

Where was Wallace when this much missed man would sing The Lord's Prayer? ..After RC...

This will be the last time President Ford takes off from Maryland. An Old Line State salute to you, Mr. President.

Late to answer (back after hubby left) but yes, you did hear Chris Wallace say that he had never heard it sung before. However, being as how he is Jewish, I don't find that unusual.

The casket holding the body of former US President Gerald Ford is carried from the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. With soaring eulogies and a wistful glance into history, the United States honored former president Gerald Ford on as healer of a nation traumatized by the Watergate scandal and the Vietnam War.(AFP/Pool/Chuck Kennedy)

Thank you, Aqua. The same procession of dignitaries that welcomed President Ford's body/casket to Andrews is now seeing him off. (Flight to Michigan)
