Protestors affiliated with Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kan., have announced plans to stage a protest at the Ennis funeral services of Navy Hospitalman Kyle A. Nolen.
The funeral services are set for Tuesday, Jan. 2, with the church issuing a bulletin that it will begin picketing at 10:15 a.m. at J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis, which is handling the arrangements.
The funeral is set to begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Myrtle Cemetery. Nolen, 21, lost his life the morning of Thursday, Dec. 21, after the vehicle he was riding in drove over an improvised explosive device.
A 2003 Ennis High School graduate, Nolen was serving in the Al Anbar province of Iraq.
I live in NJ so I am far from the WBC but I have often wondered if they would like people protesting while they are having church. Or just following them around with signs like Fred is a fag, or Shirley is a media whore etc. Maybe they need a dose of their own medicine.... I have heard they will protest regular people who they dislike by standing in front of their homes with nasty signs and chant... I wish they would stand outside my house with a nasty sign about me because the threat of jail would not deter my husband or sons , nor would a lawsuit from giving them the beating they so so deserve.... The protests of the soldiers is terrible but now its everything. The Sago miners, and the little Amish girls... These people are truly the scum of the earth....I used to think ignoring them would make them go away but I have changed my mind. I think hitting them in their pockets , as one mourning father did is the way to go. If all mourning families gathered together and sued the WBC that might put a damper on things....I have also wondered if they protest Dr Tiller's abortion clinic. Does anyone know? If not I find that very interesting.... I truly believe someone with money is behind these scum.... When old Fred goes it will be a wonderful day indeed. But then we will have Shirley.
I believe Nolan is considered a *green side corpsman*. He was stationed at Twentynine Palms and lived and trained with the U.S. Marines. Perhaps, a few of the retireds (Navy/Marines Corps) around the area will *greet* the Phelps family, and protect the privacy of Nolan's family.

20 years ago, had someone described for me the things this group has done and I would have predicted they were shot dead at their next public showing....
If the worse thing were to happen with respect to my son or one of my nephews and these people were to show up, then I would do everything I could to bring a lawsuit against them. I'd try to find everyone I could who also wished to bring suit and have a class action suit against them seeking huge monetary damages in order to put them out of business. Considering what these people have been doing, I wouldn't be surprised if we discovered that George Soros is behind their funding.
George Soros is just who I was thinking of. I think a class action suit is the way to go too...... We belong to the PGR and we buried a close friend's nephew. That family had the PGR there. But the family told me they were going to hurt the WBC if they showed as they had promised. Thankfully the WBC didn't show up. Most of the town people were ready to hurt them too. I know there weren't enough police to stop them.... Being in the PGR I can't condone that happening but I wouldn't lift a finger to help the WBC if I saw it going down. If that makes me rotten and mean, well I guess I am.

These scumbags deserve to have their azzes kicked.
Not allowing families to have a peaceful burial of their loved one's is not free speech. I've already warned my wife that if one of our family members is protested by this group, she will be without a husband for a few weeks because I will seriously hurt one of those disgusting pigs and I will be in jail temporarily.
