That would be a Nagin City paid lawsuit filed this week against the storeowner for being a nuisance.....

If they haven't been convicted, shouldn't that be "alleged assault rifles"?

Is LA getting any better? I just got a free weekend trip in the mail to a New Orleans. I wouldn't go anywhere near there.

I'm not stalking you, I swear. :)
Someone gave me 2 $150 Saints tickets for free and NO is only 3 hours from here. I stayed home and watched them beat SF on TV. I used to go to about 3 games a year. I'm not going to New Orleans ever again, safe or not.

The references to Nawlins and Nagin and such are very accurate.
However, I have to really question the wisdom and integrity of a gun shop (sporting goods store) owner who would leave weapons laying about unsecured after store hours.
Anyone ever heard of a safe?

Did he get his new Cobra chopper yet?

The best solution is pull downs, putting them in a safe every night damages the pistoles. I worked for Ramsey Outdoor years ago, someone got into the store Saturday night and spent Sunday cutting the safe open. Unfortunately there is no perfect solution.

New Orleans is re-arming.

I dropped by NO exactly a year ago. The devistation along the Gulf (even now) is worth a trip. The scope of it is beyond comprehension until you see how many square miles were affected. We drove I10 from Baton Rouge to Pensacola and back because of child visitation. We spent New Year's Day in the Quarter because we knew we wouldn't be interrupting workers on that day. Since we had been to NO several times, it was just important to experience the recovery ourselves.
If you get go to NO, just use your head. Enjoy the antique shops and cafes during the day. Be sure to be in a safe place before the sun goes down. Kinda like it always has been in that town from the pirate days onward.

No, those are just some of the Katrina cops just getting back from Las Vegas in their stolen Cadillacs that are rearming. I wouldn't be surprised the cadillac dealership is soon hit again.

"New Orleans is re-arming."
Why? All the criminals have moved to Houston. Well, except for the politicians that is.
