I'd love to see Jeb take on Nelson...he's too good to not stay in the game
yum....I'm out of chocolate so will buy some today after I eat breakfast out...a well deserved treat today for moi
Kate O'Bierne was hired by NBC for the exact reason that she was on CNN for so long...
She supposedly is conservative...but, will never miss a chance to show that she, too, will bash anything GOP.
My new year greeting had a box of Cadbury's Chocolate flake pieces on it.
but that's six years down the road. Most of the voters in Florida will be dead by then. You know, the blue-hair, white shoes/belt crowd.
:)
Excellent idea, and we just had the chance a few months ago but our Fla. pubbie leaders dramatically dropped the ball in every way shape and form.
I've noticed the MSM is willing to compare the Iraq War to the Vietnam war, which we "lost," because of stateside pressure to give up.
But the MSM never wants to compare the Iraq War to the Korean War.
Probably because millions of South Koreans have enjoyed freedom for over 50 years, thanks in a big part to 30,000 US deaths in 2+ years..
To paraphrase some anti-war folks,"No Koreans piloted planes into American buildings, so why did we go into Korea?" (/sarc)
I wonder if that's partly due to his being from Iowa. His push for alternatives to oil could mean lots of $$$ involving ethanol production from corn.
If the Republicans in Congress would look at the numbers, they could easily see that the Dems have a precarious "majority". I want to see Republicans fight to stop some of the dems' socialistic proposals. I am so weary of all that collegiality ("MY FRIEND" this and that). More testosterone and plain/blunt talk are needed.
Out of chocolate after Christmas I have enough to last me to Easter and beyond LOL
lol yes I remember them well...I lived in FL for 5 years and left in 99...I just want to see Jeb stay in the game he's too good not too...we need people like him too badly...is there a congressional seat he can run for?
Specter's whole interview was disgraceful...
All it did...when talking about his trip to Syria, and his answer about Iraq....was point out that HE wants the power that Pres. Bush has...and even though he knows he doesn't constitutionally have it..
He will try to tell ignorant people that he DOES...
BTW...I have never heard Joe Lieberman on a talk show where I agreed with all that he says...today was an exception...he was VERY good.
Good morning and Happy New Year to All! :)
Ohhhh, O.K.
lol well I didn't get any chocolate for Xmas this year so I bought my own and have to replenish it...next year I'm going home for Xmas and chocolate will be everywhere from fudge to cookies, etc...I love to bake but it's hard for just 1...
You know...everyone refers to John Edwards as "pretty boy" or the "Breck girl" or something..
But, I was watching him briefly on Stephy's show..and his mouth is very distracting..and totally takes away from his other looks.
I don't mean just what he says with that mouth..but physically, he only talks out of one side...(there is a joke in there some where...lol)
