As a true Christian, I find your revelry more than a little disturbing.
If I get through this life without bearing witness to another man's death I will consider myself truly blessed.
I shudder to think of just what actions you and people like you are ultimately capable of.
Yeah, ended with a preposition...so hang me.
Goodbye, Freeperville! Enjoy your obscurity.

I'm a true Christian too. I know Jesus personally, and He loves me.

Luke 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

If I get through this life without bearing witness to another man's death I will consider myself truly blessed.

I'm already truly blessed. My place in heaven is reserved and waiting for me.

I shudder to think of just what actions you and people like you are ultimately capable of.

Me and people like me? Look in the mirror, sinner.

God revels in the evil being punished, and so do I.

If I get through this life without bearing witness to another man's death I will consider myself truly blessed.

That's funny, I will just consider you an ethical narcissist.

You precious little thing. Fortunately, there are people who are willing to fight and kill for your freedom even if you are too sweet to do it.

You should thank them....

I shudder to think of just what actions you and people like you are ultimately capable of.

Well, I'm a soldier, so start shuddering....

By God's command, people in the Old Testament were PUBLICLY stoned.
It is called a deterrent. When you witness the consequence for bad
behavior, it tends to make you think twice before committing a crime.

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance... So that men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth." Ps. 58:10-11

...like being happy that the actions of an immoral mass killer has been judged by man and God, and that any future crimes he may have attempted have been forever prevented?

Look up the original translation of "thou shalt not kill" and you will discover it is "thou shalt not murder". My dad probably killed in WWII to defeat Hitler and Tojo. I am sure God knows the difference.

I cannot judge the man's soul...God (the real one, not "Allah") is judging his soul right now. But I am ordered, by Christ, to judge the "fruit of his spirit" of this man. He was a murderer in the foulest fashion, often just because he had an evil heart. He put people into plastic shredders feet first so they could watch themselves die. He put children as young as five years old in special children's prisons. He used mustard gas and nerve gas on women and children of his enemies. Just what did he have to do, what level of evil did he have to obtain, for you to be glad he is dead?

Saddam murdered millions. I was joyful that evil has been defeated. If God and Jesus want to look at the difference between us, I am going to the hereafter without any fear.

As to "obscurity", go ask Dan Rather how obscure FR is.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Bit of a drama queen aren't ya?

Sure some have gone heavy into the glee thing...if you don't like it - don't participate! There's plenty else to do and participate in. I'm sorry that I'm not a "real Christian" like you, so full of herself that you feeeeeel free to criticize and impose your sensibilities onto others.

I imagine most of us fall short of your mark as Conservatives, too. You're so much better than the rest of us, you aren't compelled to practice the tolerance that "mere" Conservatives. As such, FreeRepublic was likely a real drag for you, wasn't it?

So don't let us stop you from seeking out those (and only those) who truly deserve your attention and companionship.

As my pappy used to say..."Don't let the door hit ya..."

Exodus 21:14

But if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my altar and put him to death.

This hanging was justified.
