On the news on my Public radio station WQED, they told the story of his execution ....... the young boy who had a "hardscrabble", "impoverished" upbringing......blah, blah, blah.
It was all summed up basically to say that that is what made dear Saddam grow up to kill hundreds of thousands of people.

I gave up listening to it a long time ago. Saddam did have a hard childhood, but so what?
Crashed early myself...woke up about 2 hours earlier than normal with a sick tummy (too many ginger and cinnamon altoids yesterday)...
But I hear you. There were men in his early life who treated him terribly.
We're given choices. He chose the dark path.
So when are they NOT "outraged" about something?
Particularly when they are spoon fed a version of information designed to punch their buttons.
Now FOX is doing it. Talking about Saddam's young life.
OH BARF.
