The title is misleading. Apparently the ban would be on women who have been pregnant.

Looking at this pic, I think this is disgusting. I am a boob man, but this is sick. Also, when this woman gets older, her back is going to be a wreck. Are we, the taxpayers, going to have to pay for this woman's medical bills when she is the one who wanted boobs this big, just so she would be the center of attention?? I think we will and it just ain't right.

I would agree with that. It would have been clearer to have a title which stated to the effect that females who have been pregnant may be banned from giving plasma.

This is a test:

You're not dealing with the typical computer genius, here, and I don't know how to create a "link" to save my heine. (It was only about 6 months or so back, that armed with ONE Helen Thomas photo, I discovered embedding images!)

I don't believe she's an illegal alien, so taxpayers shouldn't be picking up the tab.

Besides, when the Hildabeast takes over the medical business with Hillarycare in 2008, we won't have to worry about WHO will pay; we'll ALL be paying and standing in line.

No, and we, the taxpayers, probably won't have to pay for the photoshop program used to give them to her either.

Deaths attributed to transfusion-related lung injuries are rare — about 1 in 220,000 people transfused. But in a bulletin issued to blood banks on Nov. 3, the blood bank association said the lung injuries, which averaged 24 deaths in the United States from 2003 to 2005, were the most frequent cause of transfusion-related death reported to the federal Food and Drug Administration.

So they're not even really sure? I wonder what the number of deaths do to medical incompetence in hospitals each year is. Maybe we should close down all hospitals?

Deaths are unfortunate and it would be good if EVERY unnecessary death could be prevented, but this seems like an over reaction. Maybe there's something in some people's physology that makes them prone to it and they ought to be looking at whether some type of screening could help.

Even if the test was expensive, it only needs to be done once, and only on women who have been pregnant.

How about if she becomes pregnant after she's been tested.
Another test before being allowed to resume donating makes sense.

I kind of wonder also if this is an overreaction.

I feel sorry for that girl. I'm sorry but I really do. Imagine the back trouble she has to deal with, and her bed-partner who has to worry about inadvertently receiving a concussion while aleep if she rolls over too quickly. Ever been in a pillow fight? A proper pillow clobbering can cause one to see stars.

Wow. She's so... unbalanced, she has to cantilever off a tree to keep from falling into it.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. Women are just as crazy as men though in that regard. Maybe even more so, in that they subject themselves to all sorts of things so as to validate themselves in men's eyes; they being the enablers for their foibles.

Where in the world does that idea come from that women are somehow defective in their natural state?

Only one thing horrifies me more than breast augmentation: high heels. I can say that because I had fallen arches as a child.

As much as I enjoy what the high heel does to a woman's form, I shudder to hear "My feet hurt" (I personally know what that means). I worry 'bout women's preoccupation with hair color (I understand chemistry and the long term affect of low dosages can have). It concerns me tht they paint their eyelids with paint, and slather on a coating onto their eyelashes (even so they wear contacts lenses).

Ask women what they want: they'll tell you they value "honesty" and "sincerety", despise and loath the shallowness inherent in the superficial. Ever give a woman a poorly wrapped present?

I'm a red-blooded male, and yes I understand the boobie thing, but while I'm that and a leg man, I relish a woman's statuesque shoulders, or her deep, love imbued come hither look in her eyes, the particular curl of her lips, or her deep natural musky scent, the timbre of her voice, the cool touch of her hands, the sandwich that I made for her that she ate without complaint before having sex, the exquisite dessert she just sort of whipped together after, her soothing of my bruised ego, her comprehension of chess, her ablility to defend me in public (when I should be denigrated), her ability to denigrate me without malice in private, her understanding that 72o is the proper room temperature, her uncomplainingly bundling up when it gets too chilly, her enjoying chilly, she hating bugs (but willing to go camping), knowing that she's a valued member of my team (and me hers), speaks her mind and will hear me speak mine, understand that rap is not music (at best poetry), is high-minded but not high-browed, understands her place, can play a decent game of chess, solve a calculus equation, has a volubulary greater than 10,000 words, knows that a move is more than just a story, loves a world that has men in it for her pleasure.

Such a woman needs her feet rubbed often, and be provided copious quantities of bubble bath.

She falls over forward frequently and could strike her head on something hard.

How could she fall forward and strike her head on anything?
