Who do we send song requests to in the Canteen? Here's a good one for this weekend. (#49)

Wonder if Scott Ritter will rush over there to become Saddam's death row bride?

Man, are we ever going to be able to get the story straight, he's gonna hang, they're not gonna hang him, he's gonna hang in 36 hours, no wait, 48, no wait... (sigh)

Dear BurbankKarl,
One's coat is hung on a hangar.
One's neck is hanged in a noose.
Just one of those weird idiosyncracies of the English language.

There's going to be a party in heaven.
Saddam won't see two thousand seven.
All the people he killed (or ordered to be killed) will be celebrating.

Especially if we're talking 36 union/bureaucrat business hours. That could take months. Years maybe!

36 hours and counting, eh? Well now I wonder. Why not now, and why not present his wrung neck to the World as a fait accompli.
In 36 hours the whine of the media will have become so shrill that we can't enjoy the celebration because of the din.
The man murdered innocent men, and innocent women, and children, and babies,...lots of 'em.
We caught him, we shouldn't have to listen to girly men whine.

isnt that hung? I looked it up. The past tense of hang is usually hung, unless you're talking about hanging a person. Then it's hanged.
