Raleigh The North Carolina State Bar has filed an ethics complaint against Duke lacrosse prosecutor Mike Nifong.

Very true.
He knew the DNA results were did not match any lacrosse player by the time the grand jury met. So he would have had to affirmatively lie to the grand jury to claim a match.
Also they gave him a dirty "look" and a Curly(howard) salute..
Gotta watch out for those rich daddies, huh? ;)
I'd be careful what I wished for on this one. LOL.
LOL!
Well, we know he lied to the press and to the public, so why wouldn't he lie to the Grand Jury? Of course he did.
He probably was not in the grand jury. I think had he needed to lie to them, he would have. He did not have to to makea prima facie case. But as you point out, one can never say never with Nifong.
I think he would have lied to his own mother if he thought it would help his election.
Actually, I think he would have jailed his own mother if it would help his case. Like all those potential defense witnesses.
so THAT's what a $hithead looks like.
Nifong can't claim full credit for that....
The dumb ass President of Duke (Duck) and more than 80 members of the faculty did a fine job of that, all on their own.
Duke alumni and other benefactors should show their disgust, by closing their wallets in the future -- until the Duke faculty represents something more that a bunch of rabble rousing, racist, hate mongering leftist sonsuvbitches with no concept of the American JUDICIAL SYSTEM...
Leftist always revert to "mob rule" to get their agenda forwarded -- if mob rule doesn't work - then they play the race card to increase the size of the mob.
A POX on all their sorry asses.

Thanks. Any special requests for the sequel?
As long as it ends poorly for the Fong I'm ecstatic.
Thanks, that was GREAT!
You wrote that? Wow! Impressive. I thought you just copied it from another blog.
You nailed it. Thanks for the laugh and happy new year!
Or he could work with Nancy Grace.
I tried to post these earlier but they were full of tags and came out as a long sentence, LOL. This time I backspaced everything and then put what I hope is clean spaces back into it......the last paragraph of the complaint cites NC Bar Rules AND section 84-28 of NC Law; which cites section 84-23 as well. You will notice that 84-23 says "investigate and prosecute matters of professional misconduct". That makes this layman wonder if Nifong can actually be prosecuted, despite what the talking-heads have been saying on gretatube et al.
84-28 Discipline and disbarment.
(a)Any attorney admitted to practice law in this State is subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Council under such rules and procedures as the Council shall adopt as provided in G.S. 84-23 (snip)
