You dont have to be a psychic to predict that the year 2007 will write off international terrorism as a threat to the United States of America.
As Washington prepares to swear in Nancy Pelosi, as Cleopatra of the 21st century, the slate has been wiped clean.
Mohamed Atta? Tossed out with the old while Democrats get swept in with the new.
Now that Rep. Curt Weldon, who no longer has a congress soapbox from which to flag Americans, has been replaced by the Bill Clinton-sponsored retired Navy admiral Joe Sestak, debunking Able Danger was as easy as getting Tony Bennett to sing about losing his heart in San Francisco at Nancys big soiree.
Just in time for upcoming festivities, senators have nixed all pre-9/11 hijacker ID theories.
A lengthy Senate investigation has debunked charges by a Republican congressman that military analysts identified Mohamed Atta and other Sept. 11 hijackers before the attacks, according to an unidentified committee aide familiar with the report, says AP.
Concluding snip:
Meanwhile, there will be no blemish on the botox celebrations in the Jimmy Buffet world of celebrant Dems in Washington next week. Welcome to a new administration where terrorism doesnt exist.

It's all part of the lesson to be learn
More reasons to thank those who "taught the GOP a lesson." < sarcasm off
Harry Truman had no idea what a do-nothing Congress was.
I'm beginning to think this divide and conquer mantra is a strategy of enemy infiltrators.
The GOP base turned out. Independents turned against us 60/40. They made the difference. They did this.
The dreaded "lesson voter" is a myth. And it's mostly being used by "moderate" (read: liberal) republicans to attack conservatives.
Personally, I'm sick of hearing it.
BTW, I'm not suggesting you're an "enemy infiltrator". I just think they're fanning the flames of what they hope will be a republican civil war. Prior to the election, the seminar callers were all over talk radio reading the "I'm gonna teach them a lesson" script, word for word.
I'm not a "(read: liberal) republicans "
But I do know that we cann't proceed with conservative issues when socialists control both houses of congress
That's fine. But you're repeating a falsehood. Independents turned the election, not sulking conservatives.
No offense taken...and you're absolutely right. Just recently, some dork here in FR was a target of the Zot, but right before it started to smell like ozone, it was proudly stating how it "taught the GOP a lesson, and will do it again in 08 if they don't change their ways."
It irritates me to no end.
How many of those conservatives are registered Independents ??
It's hard to say. I'd guess there are far more libertarians than conservative purists. The bulk of independents are self-described "moderates".
But there's no indication that independents -- conservative, moderate or liberal -- stayed home in '06 to teach the GOP a lesson. They voted, just overwhelmingly Democrat.
And I don't believe any significant percentage of conservatives voted for the Democrats.
There's nothing to bear out the "stayed home/lesson voter" theory. Like I said, I believe it's a divide and conquer strategy advanced by the opposition.
So now, because they were "alienated by GWB", they handed Congress to those who will screw up this country. Amazing.
Ummmm .. staying home isn't the only way to swing the votes to the Dems favor to send a message
Wish it was only that bad. Nowadays, socialists control both parties in Congress... And some folks seem to want us to elect more of 'em just 'cause there is an "R" next to their name.
Thank you for posting this. I've been saying this for months, but you encapsulated it better than I have been able to.
It's not only us that have been saying this. Michael Barone, in a recent edition of the Limbaugh Letter, also analyzed the 2006 election the same way. 'Pod.
See ... that's is where you lose your argument
I don't disagree that there are some rino's in our party .. but they are mostly from very blue states where you won't get a true purist conservative elected mainly because you scare moderate voters .. and even with those faults .. they are not socialists like many of the Dem Leaders today
But you go right ahead and paint the whole republican party as socialist .. The Dems love it
I was listening to a Boortz rebroadcast yesterday. He referred to the "world's smallest political poll." This is a self-selecting poll that asks you 10 questions and then places you on the ideological spectrum. At least 20,000 people have taken the poll.
I don't remember all the exact numbers, but Liberals were 17%, conservatives 8%, statists had some percentage and so did middle-of-the-roaders and libertarians.
It is a liberatarian poll. YMMV.
My point is that I now believe that the "conservative majority" does not exist. Too many people are afraid of true freedom in this country. In order not to repeat the shellacking we took in November, the "independents" need to be educated as to why voting for 'Rats or the Left is not in their best interest.
That's where the argument has to be won.
