"to be hit with the loss of thousands and thousands....and the libs won't give a damn"
Sometimes I look around when out doing something and wonder if the people I see could fight. Really fight. I am not near a base right now, though.
It is extremely fortunate that any attacks we have now experienced are not devastating....yet. As in really devasting--100s of thousands. I am worried about that concept, and so am extremely grateful for all Bush's policies, steadfastness and commitment to personnel that defend against a costly attack.
The libs? I honestly think the libs would have and most likely already have done things to alter our position economically and militarily, such that men and women have already been lost. (Turkish axis point in the Iraq pincer movement) And, will be in future (PRC).
Finally, when I think about the road proposed through the middle of this country, I only think one thing: divide and conquer.

"Dam, this is refreshing. I usually avoid these kind of posts because they are just more Bush-bash. W has done many things correct, and a little credit doesn't hurt."Couldn't agree more!!!
Thanks so very much for your words of wisdom!!!

There is great wisdom here, too:
"...so am extremely grateful for all Bush's policies, steadfastness and commitment to personnel that defend against a costly attack."
Thank you!

I agree. I find that it is most humbling to shame your colleagues and praise your opponents.

Courage has never been his downside. I only hope that he will continue.A certain ex-prez always was worried about his legacy. I prey that Bush does not fall into the same self-grandizing trap.

"The president does what he believes to be in the best interest of the United States. He sticks with his beliefs, no matter how intense the criticism and invective that are directed against him every day."And THIS is one of the true marks of an honorable leader!!!
Thanks again for this wonderful thread!

Bushbot. What do you think of his policies of giving illegal immigrants who are breaking immigration laws, thugs, murderers, and drug smuglers US citizenship? Did you know that some of these illegal thugs and murderers who are entering our country illegally are terrorists? For that, I disagree with President Bush.
I don't live in a dream world and worship anyone. I run businesses that employ people who are here in America LEGALLY. Look up the word if you can find it in the dictionary.

Ditto your comments 100%. Bush IS a tough man. And thank God he understands defending America on foreign shores. Just as past Presidents have.
The problem in today's war is that the enemy is within and without; meaning too many Americans are too stupid to realize that a time will come when 9-11 was nothing more than a warm up of things to come.
So many of us civilians are arming ourselves to the teeth, and even the military guys at home aren't safe from another 9-11 anywhere anymore in this country.
The appeasement crowd condones and supports terrorism by not backing our foreign policies.

"... U.S. alone now stands between a radical Islamic takeover of many of the world's governments in the next 30 or more years. If that takeover occurs, we will suffer an enslavement that will threaten our personal freedoms and take much of the world back into the Dark Ages."
I think Koch has been reading Mark Steyn's "America Alone". EVERYBODY SHOULD READ IT .. it's funny and scary at the same time .. and I'm still in the first chapter.
