And like President Reagan, President Ford still acted presidential AFTER leaving the White House, unlike two other unicycle riding clowns I can think of.

Gerald Ford is shown as he played football for the University of Michigan in 1934. He won three varsity letters as a lineman and was voted most valuable player in 1934 at center for Michigan. He later took part in the Shrine Bowl and Pro-All Stars games. At Yale University Law School, he served as assistant varsity football coach to Ducky Pond and freshman boxing coach. Gerald R. Ford, who picked up the pieces of Richard Nixon's scandal-shattered White House as the 38th and only unelected president in America's history, has died, his wife, Betty, said Tuesday Dec. 26, 2006. Prayers for his family. My God bless the soul of one of the most decent human beings to have ever served as POTUS.

Yes he sure could, that's an outstanding photo. How time has passed, RIP Mister President, a calm presence, dignified.

Of course, the Liberal press could only make fun of his "clumsiness", they never can treat any conservative president with respect, ever, it's always hateful, cynical put-down and what a sorry lot they are.
