Just breaking on FOX...
Their rules say no longer than 30 days. It can happen right away. The only restriction is, no longer than the stated period.
You're right. Prayers going up for Saddam and his family...
LOL!
Long may he swing!!
Unfortunately for those who have suffered under him and his evil regime it's not soon enough
Lefties: Doesn't Matter. Saddam was never a terrorist. He was a good secular leader whose people loved him.
No longer than 30 days means schedule it as soon as you can so that the Friends of Saddam don't have time to mount a rescue.
I'm hoping that the SOB either leads or follows the falling ball on or before New Year's Night.
FReepers: keep in mind that it's illegal to discharge a firearm in the air in most municipalities. If you're lucky enough to live rurally, have fun. :)
NOT a "great idea," ANYWHERE.
Bullets that go up must come down. One true story I read about had to do with a lady out puttering around in her garden one day. Suddenly she just fell down, dead. They weren't even sure at first why she died -- then they discovered a bullet in her head.
A man quite some distance away (too far away to be heard) had shot a firearm at a rabbit at the top of a hill and missed. He was held responsible for her death.
So yeah, if you want to be potentially liable for manslaughter, then go ahead and shoot guns in the air. Otherwise, firing directly into a tree or into a proper backstop should be okay.
The U.S. military reported the deaths of six more American soldiers in Iraq, bringing the U.S. death toll to at least 2,978 -- five more than the number killed in the September 11 attacks.
The fox anchorette said "Saddam would be ASSASSINATED within a mont"
I could not believe my lying ears. She used the word assassinated.

I would think that would be a good idea. Hell, I would give him life if he would confirm his involvement in 911.
Great Christmas gift- day late- but oh well, will still celebrate as will millions of Iraqis. Justice has been served- take that liberal terror coddlers! http://sacredscoop.com
My thoughts exactly.
Two ropes, for sure, same gallows, no. We want the Al Ramsey to swing on a US gallows, on a rope of good American Hemp.
Perhaps he will be.
Only if the bullets are coated in pig grease.
You have an excellent idea. Firing squad for his involvement in 9/11 and where are the WMDs?
Still want the bullets coated in pig grease.
I might do that to, if I can find a blank firing adapter and some blank ammunition in time. Problem is, an SKS sounds more or less like an AK, and all my neighbors are soldiers, many with at least one tour in the Sandbox. Might not be healthy.
Mythbusters did an episode on this, as long as you shoot strait up in the air its not fatal. It just falls back at 122 mph and would hurt like hell when it hit you, but not hard enough to crack your skull. Shooting it at a lower angle and it still has forward trajectory when it hits. They proved that dropping slugs from a balloon a couple of hundred feet up made the same impression as a bullet fired at 90 deg.
Read post #109 by 91B.
Give saddam a firing squad if he levels on his involvement in 9/11 and on what happened to the WMDs.
Absolutely brilliant.
The only hemp he'd likely see in America would be in the pockets of "peace activists" agitating on his behalf. Even if the Justice Department had the stones to bring forth charges (doubtful), Republicans would cave (of course) and the rest of us poor schlubs would be too busy working for a living to do anything about it. That's why the Left always wins these battles. They depend on a permanent army of people who don't work, but live off government and foundation dollars and then go and agitate for more.
I agree. Didn't another top Baathist "escape" recently?
