Less than a year after Danish cartoonists ignited protests across the Muslim world with their depictions of Muhammad, another group from that country has risked offending Iran's president by calling him a "swine" in a hidden message included an advertisement that got past censors and editors at the Tehran Times. Surrend, a Danish art group that targets world leaders, successfully submitted an advertisement to the newspaper that, at first glance, expressed support for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The late Bob Denver playing beatnik Maynard G. Krebs on the old Dobie Gillis T.V. show. Ahmadinejad kinda looks like him, huh?

***Ahmadinejad was selected, they said, "because we don't think he's very liberal or sensitive."***
These people are using liberal in the correct sense, BUT...
Those blasted liberals. When I read the above quote I actually had to stop and try to remember what "liberal" means. They've gone full circle, from liberal meaning open-minded, to "we can have free speech, but YOU can't," to being totally close-minded. Let's call them what they are, COMMUNISTS.

lol, Maynard was kinda sweet and lovable and it showed in his countenance. Ahmanutjob looks evil like something a mad scientist dreamed up that went horribly wrong.
Kinda like Atook crossed with one of those deep deep water fishes......

Ahmanutjob is quite the piece of work.
My theory on folks of his ilk (Stalin, Hotler, Pol Pot, Caligula, Torquemada, Ivan the Terrible, Adolph Eichmann, Idi Amin, the list could go on for a while) plus the common evil found in Dahmar et al is the result of a (thankfully) small pinhole leak in Hell.
Only explination I can come up with to explain the evil those POS have shown the world.

This would be really cool if it happened and I'm not saying it didn't but they put a Danish ad in an Iranian newspaper and the first letter of each line comes up 'Swine' in English? Am I missing something here?

THOSE kinds of liberals are better known as "classical liberals" - practicing TRUE liberalism. I think American conservatives are more like classical liberals than today's liberals are.

Actually, most of us [even among the honorable ladies and gentlemen of the FR] would be perfectly capable of a similar, or worse, swinery, if given the chance and circumstances. So the hairy baboon merely offers us a rather unpleasant mirror to look in and puke from the sight.

NO, I didn't. But who cares? They take our free speech, therefor they aren't liberals.

Takes guts to tackle a windbag like that, and in such a subtle way. Good for them.
