SARASOTA, Fla. -- Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is considering not sitting the certified Republican winner of a contested congressional election when Congress reconvenes next month, her spokesman said.
Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Pelosi, said the congresswoman has not yet decided what to do about the contested District 13 race where Republican Vern Buchanan was certified the winner by the state by a margin of 369 votes over Democrat Christine Jennings.
"The bottom line here is that nothing's off the table," Hammill said.

Just the beginning. All contested or close elections dims lose, they will do this. Hell, why stop there. They can just not certify any republican or other party from their seat. If that person defeated a socialist dim, they must have cheated, or there must be massive voter fraud.
"If I were the person due to be seated , I would hit her with a law suit so fast her eyes would assume their normal size."
Like she would CARE???
She won't be paying the legal bills, WE WILL......
The Democrats certainly arent after the bi-partisan agenda they spoke of if they pull this crap.
We all know what they mean by bi-partisan. Their way or the Highway. If Republicans had balls they could break this up fast enough by not attending any House sessions, Just boycott the damned things.
Well stated.
But if your scenario indeed comes to pass, what recourse will those who oppose a "dictatorship of the left" have, except to support an American Pinochet?

The peasants would march on the house with pitchforks. Nancy aint that brave.
If she dos this... glove should come off ... bare knuckles.
Pubs should hold vigil in the Arlington cemetary for all those who died so that democracy and a moral republic could live.
Skip all house schedules except the votes. Vote against everything, citing the speakers moral corruption.
Hold press conferences in the cemetary, reading Lincolns Gettysburg address, about how men here had died to keep a moral government, and now the speaker insults their memory.
I am with you. What I would like to see is about ten thousand voters show up on the steps demanding that the person they voted for be seated.
The Democrats know every slimy dirty trick in the book and they have no qualms at using them.
This is one thing that cost the republicans their majority. They were afraidn to use these tricks against the democrats. rather they sat on their butts and let the democrats in the minority set the agenda.
Now this IS an excellent idea. Too bad the Republicans do not have the fortitude to do it.
Then it would be Florida's place to take the US House of Representatives to the Supreme Court. I'd LOVE to see that.
I think that the Democrats are relying on all of us submitting meekly, just as the Republican leaders have so often done. Do we have the will to stand up? I don't know, but I fear not.
Thanks for the correction. Given the correct data, I would agree with your conclusion.
The "journalist" seems to have been unable to state (or, more likely, understand) a simple mathematical relationship.
She acts like she's a major spokesperson, errand girl of the puppet masters with all their clout behind her to do their traitorous globalist will in whatever ways she wishes.
Or, perhaps she's trying to give her unroyal lowness, her hideous heinous--Bw*tch Shrillery Antoinette de Fosterizer de Marx de Machiavelli de Stalin de Pol Pot de Mao . . . de Sade
competition for bw*tch of the century.
She can do this but I think this is more a case of a bargaining chip of some form.
IOW republicans better not support any renegade blue dog democrat for speaker.
Her speakership may not be so safe a bet.
It's a good idea, but our Republicans are too timid to do anything courageous. They take Jesus' command literally all the time: turn the other cheek, or don't look, don't ask.
Yes, they marched out in protest, but they really didn't mean it. I imagine Bob Michel cleared it all with Tip O'Neill in advance.
