Probe of Islamic ties 'obstructed' by feds
WorldNetDaily ^ | December 23, 2006 | Art Moore

Federal officials were "outrageously obstructive" during a congressional probe examining possible Islamic terrorist and foreign ties to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, according to a congressman who disclosed to WND some of the highlights of a subcommittee report scheduled for release next week.

"But I am trying to think through why our government would not want us to know that Islam was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing."

The Clinton administration was under heavy pressure that they blamed on the 'vast right wing conspiracy'. Every where they looked they found evidence of this 'vast right wing conspiracy'. Even if it wasn't there. Other things that were there were discounted or overlooked since these things did not fit the template. IOW, if you're looking for a Timothy McVey, you'll find one. If you're not looking for an Islamic terrorist, you keep looking until you find a McVey.

Thanks for posting this!

I wonder what the FIBbers told Rohrabacher they did with all the surveillance camera tapes they have refused to release?

Okay, I buy that, but why then has the Bush admistration gone along for the ride since taking over? Who benefits?

Definately something that makes you say hmmm.

I'm not big for conspiracy theories but I think this needs to be seriously investigated.

I dunno, beyond a talking point, what purpose does all this serve? Truth? We're a long way from there. All we have are questions. Even if the worst was true, what difference would it make?

After 9/11, we know what we need to know about the Islamists. We only lack the will to really do anything about it.

As far as Neo-Nazi groups go, which is not very far, it's hard for me to see how extreme ideologues like Islamists and Nazis could get beyond the hatred of the other long enough to mount an "operation" together.

I still buy the official version here, that Oklahoma City was a local "operation". And even if it wasn't, we already have more than enough reason to resist Islamic influence and fight Islamist violence.

You obviously weren't around here (FR) for the hundreds of posts re OKC. The FBI's case is bogus -- and built on demonstrable lies.

BTW, It should also not be forgotten that the Clinton justice department did unjustly slaughter 80 some innocent people in the pursuit of several criminals in Waco, Texas.

You missed my point.

It was: "so what?".

We are still fighting the Crusades all over again. The "truth" about Oklahoma City won't change anything.

"BTW, It should also not be forgotten that the Clinton justice department did unjustly slaughter 80 some innocent people in the pursuit of several criminals in Waco, Texas."

More accurately, that should read, "...in the pursuit of a few (according to BATF) "illegal" gun parts in Waco, Texas."

~~~~~~~~~~
" The "truth" about Oklahoma City won't change anything."
~~~~~~~~~~

"...It should also not be forgotten..."
versus
"so what?" "truth...won't change anything."

Contradictory back-to-back posts, newbie... Your disdain for the truth would do Freeh/Reno's "Justice" Department proud.

Contradictory? Not at all. Just because I call the truth as I see it in two incidents? Part of the "explanation" of Oklahoma City is outrage over Waco. Makes sense.

"Newbie" I love that. I have spent 51 years on this earth. How old are you? Just because I have only recently burdened the other's opinions here with mine, they are more suspect?

The feds made every patriotic citizen with a weapon, willing to defend his/her country feel like they were the enemy.

What else would you expect of a Clinton-led justice department?

Now that is a question that should be answered by Bubba Clinton.
There have been many articles about the interference of European factions in the OK bombing. There has also been information regarding the Philippine connection with Terry,?(can't remember his last name [Nichols?]). Perhaps if he were wrung out again we might get more information? For all intents and purposes the OK bombing looked just like the Marine Barracks bombing in Lebanon and the Khobar Towers. There is a definite link.

Let's just say that I qualified to vote before you appeared on this planet...

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The "truth" about Oklahoma City won't change anything.
Au contraire. The "truth" about Oklahoma City should put a significant number of Clinton-era Feds -- and a several State actors -- behind bars. That's a "change" worth working toward. (Unless, of course, you, yourself, are a FedShill...)
So you're at least 72, right? Since the right to vote was lowered to eighteen the year I turned that age.
Nice try. I will ignore the personal attack, for now. Again, I say: "so what?". Answer my damn question. And do not try to guilt me by association that does not exist with some (FedShill?) thing going on.
I messed up in my last post. You said you were qualified to vote in 1954, before I appeared on this planet.
So if you where at least 21 in 1954, you are at least 73 years old. Correct?
